I wasn’t a full blooded gears fan until 3. Not that I believe the other games before it were terrible, I just didn’t have an Xbox until around 3. The first moment I jumped into a versus match on 3, I got absolutely HANDLED. I could not stop them from running me down at all. I knew from that moment, I LOVED gears. I rose to that challenge and made my mark on leaderboard after leaderboard. No. I am not the best, but I believe I can get there. I can’t do it alone though, if I’m ever on top of any scoreboard, it’s because I had a great team opening the way for me. If I am ever at the bottom, it’s because I failed them.
