Words cannot describe how boring and slow this game is .

This tuning just rewards people that have no skill and hard aim 24/7 because you move so slow and it’s just easy to kill / get shots on you .
The delays is just horrendous press a button and it takes 3 seconds to get the input to register.
We are not on the 360 in the year 2006 .
Bought a series x for fluid gameplay and graphics with 120fps to play a game like a slug . And to base this feedback off a poll on Twitter is a disgrace what about other platforms to use for polls . You always cater to the whiny people that get owned in ranked all the time . So we have a game that’s been out a year be fluid and plays at a good pace to literally butchered into a game that came out 14 years ago .

Lancer is useless. Snub is actually more powerful.

Slide cancel back-a shot is nerfed.

Taking away movement speed is not pleasing to anyone. After we had it the way it was for so long. Taking things away is never good. Ever.

The fact that the maps we had AND the new ones are simply not designed for 4v4, OR the slower movement speed.

Oh but no, the diehard gears fans on twitter wanted “classic gameplay” and as we all know “cLaSsiC = gOoD” right?

As long as movement speed of PVP is this slow, G5 Versus will be inferior to GOW4 VS in my opinion.

I’m gonna be honest I haven’t tried it because I knew I wouldn’t like it the only thing to do is to stop playing I haven’t played in 3 months because I saw this was the direction they were taking it they will learn when there’s no one left to play

Tell me about it , this game is a absolute borefest ,
So unresponsive and slow , matches last forever .
Get killed super easy by people and power weapons because you move like a slug

Agree with everything here. I actually got down in 2 shots by someone with a snub :sweat_smile::sweat_smile: not enjoying this new update at all. Shame really.

Seriously ? They slowed the game down this much? Is it just run speed or do you bounce slower too? I was planning to play later this evening. Not encouraged by what I’m seeing.

The roadie run speed has been slowed.

The wall slide still has the same top speed (or the top speed might be 50 units slower). But the acceleration is much slower. Making single stick movement pointless.

Weapon swap speed is noticeably slower.

Go try it for yourself then. The changes arent in quickplay playlists yet. The difference is literally night and day.

i noticed it immediately, within seconds, and it even gave me a headache before the match was over.

It’s definitely not just in blitz they’ve put it in ranked and KOTH quickplay

I’m playing guardian only as that’s still the old movement and so so much better, seems to have missed the dreaded changes that for now

It’s just far too slow makes gears really boring as you can’t play aggressive when you move like a snail
