Worst player in my life

Have this guy who enters in mid horde in gears 5 and ruins for everybody . Met him 6 times already. He takes everyones weapons and uses all power and put everything in red and holds the fab so we cant do anything. He did it 2 day at wave 46. Blocked and reported him to Microsoft Even contacted coalition and he still roams. Been on live almost everyday for 14 years and never seen such behavior. Disgusting.

Hello,

Could you please remove his gamer tag? As calling out is against forums’ rules.

Cheers,

Someone made post about him yesterday. It suck you can’t call people out on the forums because it seems like he deserves it. TC need to be brought in to deal with this, you may have better luck hitting them on twitter and citing the disturbance in the forums and in Game

Yea ITs bad. Dont use Twitter tho. Coalition said it would take up to 20 days 2 reply. Have done everything i could so just have to wait and see

Nothing will happen. He is breaking no rules.

I have dealt with this too, it is an awful thing to experience, and I’m sorry it happened, but it’s something you must prevent. No one will punish these people, because of legalities.

For reference, here is the profile of a player who has done this since launch to hundreds of horde matches.

Hundreds- thousands of reports, no penalty.

You can tank their reputation, but they will never get suspended or banned for it.

Surely there are rules against griefing?

@GOLLE - he is sure to return - record the griefer and post the video here!

No, there are none.

The reason is that it is a legal gray area. Who is greifing? Who makes the call? Who deals with the lawsuits over lost games, reverse greif trolling (Wherein people mass claim someone is greifing who isn’t to the point they receive penalty)

It’s too much for companies to deal with, so they don’t. Microsoft doesn’t, and neither does TC. They simply don’t want the onus of making these calls, so they don’t.

People are allowed to be jackholes, best thing to do is to be ready to kick a lame duck asap.

I got banned once becouse of a Word i used in forza 4. Wtf. It was not Even swearing. Got 3 days. And this guy roams freely. Thats not right

Profanity is against the rules, throwing away the time of others on purpose isn’t, but it’s probably for the best man. Draconian enforcement on how we play games probably isn’t what we want.

It’s just something you have to watch for, and kick quickly.

More importantly it’s a waste of resources.

I’m really surprised that so many games with private lobbies for their multiplayer modes don’t have kick options.

Yeah… it was really toxic on gears when we didnt have it in horde for a while. Man, the amount of times people ruined my games, and I had no recourse. Just disgusting.

If you block him shouldn’t you NOT be matched to play with him, and thus vice versa, he shouldn’t be able to see your lobby to get in to it?
I’ve played with plenty of ■■■■■■■■ and I just report and block them, never to see them again.

@ENKIL27
Xbox live doesn’t work like that anymore. MS ditched blocking them from match making when the xbone came out.
Blocking just means they cant message you.

It sucks balls and is a massive miss step on MS’s part in my eyes.

Know but sometimes ITs random players 2 and not everyone has him blocked… not yet

I mean if Microsoft wants to help players and also avoid getting their hands dirty, the should at least make sure that you are not allowed to join a match in which someone who blocked you is playing.

I only play with friends nowadays. It saves it from being a lottery.

that’s so uncool man @Mark36111

In 14 years I think I have received 5 invites total from friends to play Gears.

@TC_Clown

Thought you could use this after that one…
