I got banned once becouse of a Word i used in forza 4. Wtf. It was not Even swearing. Got 3 days. And this guy roams freely. Thats not right
Profanity is against the rules, throwing away the time of others on purpose isn’t, but it’s probably for the best man. Draconian enforcement on how we play games probably isn’t what we want.
It’s just something you have to watch for, and kick quickly.
More importantly it’s a waste of resources.
I’m really surprised that so many games with private lobbies for their multiplayer modes don’t have kick options.
Yeah… it was really toxic on gears when we didnt have it in horde for a while. Man, the amount of times people ruined my games, and I had no recourse. Just disgusting.
If you block him shouldn’t you NOT be matched to play with him, and thus vice versa, he shouldn’t be able to see your lobby to get in to it?
I’ve played with plenty of ■■■■■■■■ and I just report and block them, never to see them again.
@ENKIL27
Xbox live doesn’t work like that anymore. MS ditched blocking them from match making when the xbone came out.
Blocking just means they cant message you.
It sucks balls and is a massive miss step on MS’s part in my eyes.
Know but sometimes ITs random players 2 and not everyone has him blocked… not yet
I mean if Microsoft wants to help players and also avoid getting their hands dirty, the should at least make sure that you are not allowed to join a match in which someone who blocked you is playing.
I only play with friends nowadays. It saves it from being a lottery.

In 14 years I think I have received 5 invites total from friends to play Gears.
No. Blocking a user prevents them from contacting you. As for matchmaking, blocking them only reduces the chance of being matched with them.
He was not stating a fact, just how he thinks it should be. And at least for the lobby browser I tend to agree.
I have always said that only the Engineer should have access to the Fabricator and only one Engineer per game, this solves most problems, except, bad Engineers or the buying of Weapons and Grenades, but i would expect the easiest solution for the Weapons and Grenades is for the Engineer to be able to build an Ammunition Supply Station (limited to one only).
As for the bad Engineer thing, i would guess that the only way to sort that problem out is… Only implement that rule for 2nd tier games and above, it gives the low level Engineers the chance to level up and learn their Role. Of course, of the Engineer is a total Deek, nothing can stop that from happening.
And, i hate people that mess around and The Coalition should allow naming and shaming for certain instances, followed with a ban.
I actually thought that was exactly how it worked. It even used to say that it would avoid matching you with said player when you were blocking or reporting them.
Host your own game and kick he/she when they join.
I heard there’s a loophole where if your private lobby is open to the public, the troll can block the host and this removes the hosts option to kick them from the game (because the troll has blocked the host they cannot communicate with each other and for some odd reason this also includes the kick function).
I think it was this way during the Xbox 360 days(and from what I hear there was some aspects of this people preferred, not that I made many experiences with it). And initially for Xbox One your reputation getting dragged down would effectively prevent you from finding teammates… but they seem to have removed this because others could report you a lot on purpose to grief and make your profile unplayable, as far as I know. Either way I think people you have blocked shouldn’t see your lobbies in the Custom lobby browser.
Or TC could implement a kick function on the scoreboard to get around the loophole of the “Social” tab manager, which is something I have suggested before because players can’t hide themselves from the scoreboard, thus making it an easy and likely foolproof way to get rid of trolls/AFKers. It just has to be made in such a way to not have the accidental possibility of a kick.
