I really liked Freddy, on MKX he was awesome.
I remember when they added PREDATOR, those developers really know how to please their crowd.

I personally agree with you, Iām a big fan and a daily KL player, but there is a big chunk of people that thinks NRS sh*t the bed with MK11. The steam forums in particular are rife with constant complaints.

I play Kung Lao and personally I think it was so much improved than in X, you have good taste on games @Evil_Dereck

Gears of war needs competition in the market I feel. They basically have a monopoly on this kind game type and its getting bogged up with all this irrelevant crap and becoming a cash and grab because of it.
Too bad Sony only makes over the top singleplayer games. Uncharted 3, 4 and The Last of Us were worse than this game in the multiplayer department because they had pay to win.

Thatās unfortunate. I dont own a PS but i might pick one up next holiday season when the 5th console is released.
Back in the day PS3 had some great shooters but Sony has since shut them all down, they donāt know how to support their multiplayer.
Look at MKās unique characters from other IPsā¦ Arnold T-800. Joker (DC) And Spawn (beloved comic character)
Gearās non-cannon; T-800 Skeleton and Sarah Conner, then two other Terminator characters nobody knows/asked for. I donāt even care for Halo. Plus MK, 6.99 per character with dozens of skins, gear, etcā¦Gears is $20 for two skins and a banner.
Thereās a difference between non-cannon content. And non-cannon content thatās GOOD and appreciated. I donāt hate on the Terminator characters because they arenāt Gears, or hate on Emile because Gears > Halo. I hate on them because we already have a lack of actual Gears characters, our Special Edition characters (Outlined originally as Sam and Adam [Gears Characters]) Were HALO characters simply for the sake of PROMOTION.
In Gears 4 we got Daddy Marcus, and Zombie Domānot bad skins that feel special to that game, like Adam in Gears 3. In Gears 5 we gotāHALO characters from 7 years ago. And now we have $20 characters from a movie we donāt even care about and donāt know anything about, at least in MK we all know who Arnoldās Terminator is, and itās not just the Skeleton (WITH NO VOICE).
Sorry to rant on you Redābut I think saying that we shouldnāt care about guest characters because MK players donāt care about guest characters is just sort of naive.
Also remember MK has been (Literally) arcade-y since the 90ās and has always done crossovers. Gearsā first crossover was RTJ in 4, and then Gears 5 all of a sudden we have 6 crossover characters.
I thought there was a sense of seriousness, or at least lore-acceptable characters in Gears, excluding Thrashball Drone, but then we got Luchador Oscar and Color Blast and Zombie. All stupid reskins that stopped and Gears 4 finally started delivering better skinsā¦which were just old skins that EPIC had made.
(Technically Bulletstorm characters in Judgementābut it was dev exclusive. And Master Chief was talked about for 3 but in Cliffās words, āThe Master Chief is too ā ā ā ā ā for Gears.ā)

Yes but at least Injustice was made by Netherrealm. And even stillāItās only 3 out of some 40 characters.
Not like what we have in Gears. 6 Guests out of 27.

He was. Although itās from a 2011 interview. Heās always been edgy. Like when he claimed to listen to āLose Yourself,ā while doing pushups before he presented the idea for Gears to begin with.
Iām not disagreeing about the lack of actual Gears content. I just think itās the lack of Gears characters is the reason people are b*tching about the terminator characters. If we had a decent amount I dont think anyone would actually care about them.
I also get the Halo characters because its MS.
Even with characters in MK some never made any sense. Like Freddy Kruger.

And yeah a lack of characters does weaken an excuse for 6 Guests.
I know itās MS, but at least make it DLC like terminator, and then we could get some special Gears characters (Other than Ice Kait and Ice Jack)

The gear system should have been classic skins you could mix and match from all of MK history, not horrible colour swaps.
Like Shredder Sub Zero? Hell yea. Sub Zero in a weird dark red and brown? Whyā¦
