Trust me when I say that hardcore MK fans do NOT share this sentiment lmao. I’ve been apart of some serious sh**shows that would make this forum blush in embarrassment. Back when Freddy Krueger was revealed to be a guest character in MK9 you could have sworn they added Hitler himself into the game.

This was all on a MK dedicated fan forum mind you. Sure. A lot of the casuals ate it up and I’m not one to hate guests(though I have my limits) but i can fully understand why others would have these sentiments. It just shows how much they have faith in their already established list of characters. Why do that when you can make easy money by giving people Iron Man or Luke Skywalker?

I will say Im a casual when it comes to the MK and Injustice series, I do always love the stories NetherRealm comes up with and they usually do a great job incorporating these characters but there are some that Im just like REALLY??? And yea Freddy was one of them lol

How is she the best? Because I certainly didn’t feel like it when I maxed her cards out. She doesn’t even do any damage to Warden with her Ultimate. It only knockback and stuns, nothing else. Unless she gets her hand on Breaker Mace. But then, that is 50% Bleed at Level 5. Emile has 100% Melee Damage and 100% Bleed, way superior than Grace. She doesn’t even have damage increase from general melee combat. Her first melee attack on healthy enemy is up to 50% increase. She doesn’t have the firepower of Keegan or Mac.

One of the recent most upvoted threads on on the Gears sub-reddit was asking for the Predator to be added to the game so some players obviously do like these crossover characters.

Im not disagreeing that we want actual Gears characters. I think the lack of Gears characters is the reason people are complaining.
