We are having terrible technical problems putting your latest idea together and need further direction. We feel “Portal but it’s a toilet” could revitalize our game studio if done properly. Please drink at least one (1) liter of alcohol and contact us with further details.
That’s pretty much the essence of the problem , that they tried to fix something that was working and along the way the add so much stuff and the problem increased exponentially.
I really don’t know why they did that but Gears 5 its the result of that and specially horde , which that game mode doesnt feel like original horde in any way.

Hey You have your opinion and there is nothing wrong with you liking the game, I actually loved horde til 5 came out, and ruined it. Versus is garbage and escape should have a story behind it since it’s based on the comics but instead they just gave us another mode. I’m disappointed with Gears 5 and I haven’t played it since I deleted it about a month ago.
I like the way you approach the dialogue and don’t just say "You’ll be back, You know you’ll buy the micro-transactions, you know you’ll redownload it. There’s this little tiny tick on this forum who just annoys people and doesn’t even have an argument on why gears 5 is good. I’m glad your enjoying it, but the microtransactions also put the nail on the coffin
You make it sound like it was minor changes, They changed Horde to force you play a certain character that maybe people wouldn’t want to play. They sell you 2 skins for $20 it’s horrible, though you might not need to buy it, the lack of characters in the game, makes some blathering schumck buy it who has no control. Versus is a lancer fest and while I don’t really see the problem with that, they made it feel a little bit more like call of duty with the arcade where you kill enough people and it unlocks weapons. I’m actually surprised that the game died so quick
I’m no farseer, so I can’t say if someone will come back, nor would I. I hope that whoever plays whatever game enjoys it. That’s what gaming is about. Enjoyment. If someone enjoys pacman I would suggest they’d stick to it. Ofc. They are free to try out things, but nobody should be forced to play a game.
It’s the game’s job (and community) to get players interested. The stream yesterday seemed good. But I won’t judge till the words are converted into actions.
i didnt ask for it but i sure as ■■■■ bought it. bring on more crossover characters, they are better than the ugly ■■■ swarm.

Yeah you are right the coalition have to wait on Microsoft to email them exactly what characters the can release lol I doubt that. At worst they have to run it past Microsoft buddy but they still make the call on what’s next. Yes they are probably forced to put terminator into the game due to a deal but they are in control as to whether we get locust or ffn debees or carmines or ffn cog gears.
And you’re quite the opposite of what people ask.
Selling them? People want to be able obtain them for free. Like the current ones. The promo characters are mandatory to have a price tag that they can’t influence.

You said it was Microsoft now you are implying you only meant the promotional gear…why are you arguing with me?I simply said they can choose to give us proper gears content for sale or preferably by unlocking it. I do not agree with you that Microsoft control the unlockable or purchasable gears items-the coalition could announce tomorrow they were releasing all the carmines if they chose. Microsoft may have input but they are not stopping the coalition from releasing content like you implied

BTW, Terminator™: Dark Fate is currently at 70% on RT with a 90% audience score. It’s fitting that the Gears title that’s bringing quality back to GOW is linked with the Terminator™ movie that seems poised to resurrect that franchise. Props to TC. Now just stop delaying and give us Arnold!
