Guys get rid of the kick player option in private horde. Beyond friggin stupid. Had a match today that I ended up just shutting down cause Del was being an idiot maxing lvl 4 barriers and making sentries after repeatedly being told not to. Warned them if they didn’t stop I was shutting down the lobby cause I couldn’t just kick them so they doubled down and I kept to my word. This feature better come back because horde is the only mode left I play and if I can’t even play that then what’s the point.

They didn’t remove it, the Social tab just bugged out in all modes because it’s such a big deal players in the oh so fancy Ranked system could see who they were matched with in the lobby by going there.
So then how do you remove players from the match now? Or is this something we are stuck with until another update?

Scrubs joining master teir games ruining it for the rest of the team all over again. It was great 12 months ago back when people could troll your game for no reason without consequence. “Just like the good old bad days!”…

I just finished two games of masters today on Icebound and dam. As a host who tends to play solo, before I started my game with full squad I immediately put my lobby not visible so nobody can join my game. It actuality worked. However, on wave 32, Del did leave my game, but honestly that wasn’t the issue for (although I did invite him back, unfortunately he didn’t show up) me because we already had strong squad, with all fortifications and I never needed the 5th player, I wasn’t desperate enough.
Now that being said, the downside to making your lobby not visible can be risky move because one key player leaving the game can be very costly. But I was very lucky that it was Del who left my game on Dam, otherwise if it was JD then I would’ve struggled during boss waves. On the other hand, if a key player does leave the game then you could always create a post IF you desperately need a player.
It never should have happened in the first place. Classic TC.
Yeah I hear you man people know they can’t be kicked so they’ve just been doing whatever the f*** they want with no impunity. I’ve shut down 3 lobbies today because I can’t kick the ■■■■■■■ player and I’m not hosting a match where people don’t listen. I had one match where Del kept wasting energy on weapons and sentries by wave 15 we had already failed 3 times and had two one tier weapon lockers and 3 barriers it was a friggin joke. I had another one where another guy afk’d for 12 waves like wtf! I also don’t understand these idiots that make a hundred weapon lockers like make one fully upgrade it then start with level two barriers then make a few more weapon lockers and some decoys to wrap it up. I don’t even play engi class and I have a better handle of it then it seems most of them do just stupid and frustrating.

We better not get ban for having to shut down a game bc we can’t kick. This is bull **** needs to b fixed ASAP people r taking full advantage of this
I’ve never been banned for closing a private horde match but honestly if that became a “glitch” I wouldn’t be surprised at this point. I’m not to hopeful on a fix anytime soon either earliest we’d get it is Tuesday and I doubt they have a fix by then but this should be a top priority fix.

I just hosted a match in my lobby and the “kick player” option appeared so maybe they fixed it.
My main issue now is not being able to see a players re-up and level now so you can’t tell how experienced they are.
Always been the case that PVP takes precendance and the changes made there affect something in Horde. Not sure of the numbers since Gears 4 but PVE players always out numbered PVP players so it seems stupid to piss off everyone for the sake of PVP players who by and large are never satisfied with changes that are made
You can kick from the lobby as the players show up under your name. Once the game starts though it’s not possible to kick as the social tab is broken as you cannot see who is in your squad, just yourself, people playing gears and your friends playing other games
Yup what Rattlecat said host can kick while still in lobby but once the match starts your s.o.l as the social tab is glitched. They said they are aware of it but when we get a fix is still yet tbd. For now I’m just gonna run private I’ve got a post in looking for here on the forums for anybody that wants to join up with serious master horde players. Heres the link if your interested.
