yeah I agree @ll_R_E_D_l they should have added the full description of the charitable cause , and by doing that we would be aware of the purpose of buying the skin.

2 of them couldnt protect Prescott in Gears 3
A whole squad of them got destroyed in Judgment
A bunch of them got destroyed on Azura
Then in 5 one of them gets shoulder blocked by a bot lol

It’s funny, reading your comment I just realised how lame the Onyx Guards are, at least in the games.
Their supposed to be the most badas.s and elite of all the COG soldiers but they just get pushed around and walked over most of the time and never really do anything.
A lot of people dont realize this at first. Like you said they were supposed to be the best of the best but every time they are shown in the game they get destroyed
The best example is during the trial of Kilo squad where they are just getting destroyed left and right
It’s not very clear at all I agree I am beginning to see why people are fed up of gears 5 I have played every gears from day 1 and feel it’s evaporating big time
