Why is there nothing about the charitable cause in Johnny COG Gears description

Johnny Cog Gear is in the store with all the proceeds going to Gamers Outreach but nothing in the description when on the purchase screen even mentions this. If i didn’t use the forums i wouldn’t know about this character or have any idea about the cause it supports, i feel like there should at least be a mention in the characters description before purchasing to know why the character is there or an update in the news section in the game.

Or am i missing where it explains any of this, because i can’t find it?

It’s almost like TC don’t think about these things :eyes:

Twitter is where TC relay their info.

I get that & I agree with you,

But nothing surprises me when it comes to TC anymore.

TC needs to realize that not everyone uses twitter. I truly dont understand how hard it is to just use both platforms.

Yeah,

I agree,

But then effort and TC don’t always mix.

TC tends to do common sense things after about three to six months.

  • an intro video or message when new content drops
  • ideas like buying weapon skins being for all weapons
  • not waiting 6 months for content when you have no content
  • not filling your game with guest characters outnumbering regular characters
  • not changing mechanics after you get them at a good point

Just thought it would be common sense to explain why this character is here in the description before you buy him.

I agree but common sense things seem to be missing with Gears 5.

You’d think the actual game where people buy the charity item would be a better place to market the fact that it’s for a charity rather than Twitter.

They’d def sell more if more people knew that, I would if I could, but with me not working (obvious reasons) I can’t afford to blow 10 bucks on a skin I know I probably won’t use.

What’s the symbol on his chest because it’s not the classic skull or new generation phoenix?

It looks like either a potato or jelly bean

Taken from the MS Store on Windows 10. It does state it, but they did a poor job stating it in the game. They should have also added a notification pop-up as they did for Operation 3.
