Why is THAT even in the game?

Then I concur. Indeed, a great success! If it were within my power, a great parade would be held in the gentleman’s honour. Unfortunately it is not within my power, I do not even own a flag, but if I did, I would surely wave it, vigorously!

The gentleman recognizes the praise, and departs forthwith in a state of elevation and contentment in his doings.
Cheers to revelry and triumph!

Ooh that’s an interesting idea. TC said via the last Op 5 stream that the First Minister is appointed rather than an election process. It wasn’t anything major just someone in chat asked how the First Minister gets the job and there was a TC employee or someone in chat who replied.

Why compare Jinn to Hoffman? Her role is closer to that of Chairman Prescott: A conniving political figurehead and not an actual soldier.

Lmao thanks for the laugh

Ranked… There… I said it… :no_mouth:

Prescott listened to his command staff. He was willing to use the Hammer. Jinn wouldn’t have. Humanity is under the same threats as they were when Prescott made the decision, but Jinn refuses to even bring it online. It’s only the Hammer that prevented the Kraken from getting into the city.

Although when you use the targeting laser you can kill yourself by proximity…and they were right next to it when it went off. I don’t see how any of them were able to survive. The force alone - let alone the actual beam - of the smaller one was bad enough but the aftermath of the final cutscene should show how much stronger the big one was. Even if they didn’t get hit by the beam it clearly shows there’s a shockwave of some kind

There’s a possible chance the body of the Kraken absorbed the majority of the force directed towards them but can’t really be sure whether that’d actually have saved them. Maybe just plot armor.
