It would take thousands of years for it to grow anything green like Gears 5. I know it’s a video game but 20 years doesn’t make the world perfect again. Gears 5 and 4 is unrealistic to the Trilogy in many ways.
Good video but I’m still on the same match on icebound that started on release day. It is a campy one, boys!

I had a lot of disagreements on that type of subject with The Evil Within after it was updated and a cvar was offered to remove the heavy glare filter. It not only added a sort of eerie bloom to lights, but also muted colors and blurred textures a bit. I preferred it disabled, but it occurred to me that since it’s a filter, there’s no reason the devs couldn’t have appeased both styles by making it so you could toggle it on or off in the menu.
To a large degree you can adjust original Gears of War to look less dark and gritty with a file edit to turn off post processing, or just setting PP in game to Intense. There was also a config edit that made textures load quicker and look sharper. I know that’s not the look you’re going for, but the point is, there’s no reason the later GoW games can’t have both with such adjustments.
He has made 6 videos now on how bad the game is, and is planning to make another one on the campaign.
Whilst I appreciate the video, and don’t disagree with him, this type of video has been made months before by other people. He seems late to the party.
The moment I saw this, I thought, “Mate, I agree with you for the most part, but you’re starting to milk it now.”
This video has been made before. And really, he doesn’t say anything majorly different, or bring anything new to the table.
Before his next video on the campaign has come out, he has made 1 hour and 40 minutes of content criticising Gears 5.
Its not very Dev friendly to spend nearly 2 hours criticising a huge portion of the game. It also comes across in a way that the devs really aren’t going to watch, in terms of the titles and thumbnails.
People can love a franchise and still milk for views, by the way. You only have to look at CoD and Fifa youtubers.
I agree with the guy, I do. But he is at risk now of losing views, and creating a negative reputation of himself in this community.

Too bright, the ‘‘gore;’’ is a joke, sfx have no guts, the maps are TERRRRRRRRRRIBLE, no characters that anyone really gives a fk about, anything that can, has been done in an attempt to stop new players crying and running scared,…lets not even start on the shop…
I say this a lot to the people I play with…this Gears doesn’t feel like Gears at all…it could almost be a completely new game all together.

True but there are some instances where we tell them they are doing something wrong, they even know they are doing it wrong but they do it anyway.

I do give props to TC for making improvements but I cant forgive the sorry state they decided to launch the game in. They really should have beta tested this game way before early access. This is a prime example of “Get your ■■■■ right at launch”
It feels like on the drawing board someone said “Were going to make the game more like fortnite. Bright colors, less gore, tons of useless emotes and a big ■■■ MTX store. Who cares if we piss off the fans because we’ll gain so many new players we can afford to drop them”
Then the game launched. The bugs were terrible, They made combat and aiming so easy that anyone can pick up the game and play. Making it very difficult to actually be good at a game where everyone can aim. MW came out and the casuals all left, which is why you never cater to that crowd unless your game is free to play. Now TC is trying to please the fans they stabbed in the back cause they’re the only ones left playing the game.

Well, I will still stand my ground, and keep yelling at them while hoping for the best 
Gears 5 feels like the rest of the Gears games to me except the movement is smoother in Gears 5.
As far as colors go, people would be here complaining if it still had the same drab brown and grey colors of the last gen Gears games.

I can understand the change in color. We went from a ruined world to one were rebuilding. It makes sense things look newer.
I dont support the tone down in gore. To me that screams PG-13 to try to get a larger audience. You think Deadpool would have been a success if they censored Ryan?

But what he speaks is the truth if you like it or not. and idk a lot of people like him . there is hardly any negative comments about him on his actually video on youtube.
Oh yeah, as I said in my post, I agree with him for the most part, apart from a few minor points.
But the Internet can turn quickly. I thought the video was unnecessary given it was already covered pretty well by other people.

The point of view is irrelevant. There’s making a critical video or two, and then there’s making vids that have clickbaity, all caps titles, clickbaity thumbnails, and making so many of them he could have his own box DVD collection.
Oh, and out of his total 17 posts on this forum, he’s commented outside of his own thread a grand total of once Hmm, does that look like an active member of the community who shows an interest in the game and getting it to a better state, or does that look like someone who made a quick account and is using it to advertise and get views… If this forum operated under reddit rules, he could very easily be given a temp ban as the only thing he’s doing is self-promoting and never taking part in discussions outside of the ones that give his own channel attention.
