Hey all Shepard Gaming here again with my newest gears 5 video which is all about how the newest games have struggled with their identity in being a gears game! Gears 5 isn’t an awful game, but it just isn’t a good gears game. With the gore downgraded, the art-style and music severely changed, weird cross-overs, hero abilities, a poor open world implementation, and so much more, the game feels less like gears of war and more like a Frankenstein game full of modern trends where TC was desperately hoping something would stick! Well anyways here’s the video! I hope it encapsulates much of what you all feel, and I hope you all enjoy it!

I get you, and many others, including myself, have issue with this title, but how many videos would one have to create on a subject over a short amount of time before you began to question if they were milking it simply for views?
Not sure what that answer is for you as it’s all down to opinion, but you’ve certainly crossed that threshold with me.

You have a point, but screw it. I say let him keep posting vids until the clowns at TC fix their game. I don’t want the community to let up. TC needs to be held accountable for this mess.

I can’t speak for the MP, as I am 61 and struggling with HBP, so don’t play it anymore. As far as I’m concerned though, the only things that hurt GoW 4 and Gears 5 were the crashing glitches, and Gears 5 needing an Inconceivable mode.
A recent cumulative W10 1903 update has fixed the crashing for me, and there’s still hope for an Inconceivable mode being added to Gears 5. Honestly though, gameplay wise, the franchise is every bit as creative since TC took over IMO.

I play a lot of Versus, but I could never beat the games on insane. I only ever did it in G3 where your 3 teammates could set their difficulty to Casual while you hide sucking your thumb 
Campaign was awesome, Escape is a great addition but horde and vs need a reboot. It just doesn’t feel dark and gritty like the old gears games. Did everyone see the Diablo 4 reveal, see how they are going back to D2 style cause the fans didn’t like what they did with D3. This is exactly what Gears needs to do, make a mature game again!! Who wants to run around in horde collecting lightning bolts from dead enemies, heck no!! Get this crap outta the game please.

Its clear that you have a love for Gears and that’s awesome. So far, in the video’s that I watched. There isn’t anything I can say I don’t agree with. Great Vid’s man.

If we say nothing then they won’t change anything. Just like being a parent. If you don’t tell your child that they are doing wrong, then they won’t know and will continue to do wrong.

You cant fix something when its broken at its core! The core of gears 5 is wack with loads of input delay and d-sync issues not to mention the animation delays and crappy tuning! Its literally not fixable in my eyes.

Okay not hating on this video or defending TC. The game does look very different from the original trilogy such as color and gore. With 4 it lost its “horror” like appearance and feel but…take into consideration that in the original trilogies Sera was dying, we were at end times. As Sera is an organic life form nature takes its coarse and will heal itself and to that note, the emulsion was killing the planet and everything on it. So in conclusion after the emulsion and locust were “destroyed” JD being a grown man 20 some odd years later, the COG will rebuild and the planet will flourish again.

This game has all the tools to become the greatest Gears to date, but it seems like they don’t want to pin the tail on the donkey.

The game can definitely improve…but whether the community is willing to put up with another long retread like this with 2 games doing this now is another story.
Love your videos agree with almost everything , I don’t hate gears I love gears like you I just want it to go back to extremely goring and dark and gloomy , idk I agree you tho

How is he milking this for veiws , every video is over a different subject. I could see if he was saying the same stuff in all his videos , and he specifically said in his videos, that he loves gears and is giving back his feedback in hopes that they will change their ways. So basically he is making these videos bc he wants gears to be good. So debunked !
