Out of the main cast/story, as far as story is concerned, Kait. Lizzie would be a pick if they’d bothered actually using the character instead of a (dead) meme and cannon fodder for JD. Not literally, but you get the idea.
For the Hivebusters, for whatever reason after playing the DLC, something about Lahni’s background caught on with me. So yeah…(Keegan and Mac aren’t bad either though)
MP wise I would say Lizzie with rarely one of the three Hivebuster characters. Kait’s lines lately have just been getting on my nerve… much like many other characters, but Sam and Anya are especially annoying to me in this Gears with their voice lines and the sounds they make for certain things such as cover jumps(Sam is worse because they’re actually annoying, Anya’s are just over the top and limitedly tolerable). But not too related to subject at hand, just thought I’d bring it up anyway.

Gotta give it to my main man Keeg. He generally has good lines, and come on, he’s Onyx. Could be I’m partial to his voice actor too, who has appeared in several other games I enjoyed. Only one who I would’ve splurged for his CS version.

Second yes, I find her annoying in Gears 5. Not something I found to be the case in Gears 3(where I only played campaign, to be perfectly clear) or 4 though, for whatever reason. Then again, usually I tend to find characters less annoying in that environment than in the MP…

My girlfriend loves Fahz for the exact same reasons (but she’s from California). 
Massive Lizzie fan too, I would definitely say she’s my 2nd favourite out of the new cast of characters, especially in MP for her 4th wall breaks like “Shoot. The Gun. Harder!”.
I just really wished they did more with her in the story instead of just sacrificing her for the ‘Carmine Must Die’ motif.
Lahni’s definitely my favourite character overall (I doubt that’s a surprise to anyone at this point) originally for her intense personality in MP but later for her badassery, empathetic attitude and back story from the DLC and comics.
I actually like Gary as well (I mean he IS a Carmine after all) but just keeping it Gears 5 related.
I almost did hold off on putting Jack on the list with him being in the earlier Gears games, but with him finally being playable and having an actual personality now I figured I’d include him on the list
