I just find it funny that TC introduces this Ally system but makes it harder to find matches while playing with more people thus making you play with ret^rds, I mean randoms

I would be OK with not reviving if they are in a fire fight and kill then pick me up. It’s when they have time to pick me up, engage in a fight and lose that fight which annoys me. Randoms are awful, I will actually head into fire to revive a team mate but sometimes someone goes down behind me and I dont see them until I turn around. The revive icon is a little wonky sometimes.
My experience with randoms is they either constantly run into the whole team and get blasted away again and again or they all do not shoot and cover others so they can hide waiting for someone to walk around a corner. Playing with randoms is a major crap chute.

Just hump your downed teammate, they weren’t going to revive you anyway.

What I hate the most is the “revive lag” that I have. If the player is moving, my character try to revive him but instead she only go down for recover a coin that she drops xD It’s like 3 times trying to revive and in the end the enemy gets 2 easy kills.
I’ve been on the receiving end of gamers not reviving me,but I always go for down teammates,I totally agree with OP.please work as a team.and if someone does go down please attempt to revive them.Thanx’s in advance

Yeah, I mean, for sure I agree that people should always watch out for potential revive opportunities, this mechanic is at the core of Gears … which, on a side note, I’m wondering how FFA will handle that aspect of the game.
For me, when I play, it is a priority…as soon as I see a Teammate down, I try to do something…but sometimes there is no point getting both of us killed, remember a lot of people leave DBNO opponents as bait.
Another thing, and this is not to defend people not reviving, but I don’t think people should overreact either. It has happened to me a few times I’m playing while being a little tired, and in the heat of the action I didn’t notice a downed teammate nearby until after a few seconds, I feel bad about it and I really try to avoid that but I think it can happen to anyone.

Lol you do know you are a random player, if playing with other random players, but I know what you mean people just run of and leave you, have even had someone run right past me just to chance someone .

Hey I’m a game pass gears 5 player, this is the only gears game I haven’t brought and thank funk for that, I am desperately trying to love and play this version, but man the matchmaking really is trying my patience, especially when I get matched up with virtually every corner of the planet.
