Gears 1 kinda fluked the multiplayer. Yet it worked and it worked well. Better than they expected.
But Cliffy B didn’t actually like it. He wanted to change the successful formula.
Which made no sense. Why change something that isn’t broke and works great, just because you don’t like it or it didn’t come out the way you envisioned.

Yea apparently a new Japanese company took over epic aswel and they didn’t listen to rod and cliff so they left and then they just scrapped gears, here’s an interesting fact for ya”ll Cliffy helped make fortnite before he left epic games but he still to this day doesn’t get a penny from fortnite

Bro, he actually does play Gears a lot. When I mean a lot, he brushes me off every time I want to play The Division 2 and he plays Gears. I play in his games a lot along with @GhostofDelta2 . He may be an Italian that likes pineapple pizza but he is very knowledgeable when it comes to the game/lore. You can ask lot of people on here and they will tell you the same stuff.
