Gears of War and Starship Troopers crossover?
Think about it, very similar types of governments…both fighting nightmarish creatures …Yay? Nay?
I mean we have a Terminator crossover…is that even explained?
I know some of you are against crossovers and I’m sorry, but I think it would be cool

Starship Troopers were just Nazis exterminating “the insects.” Hitler used the metaphor but the Starship Troopers book/movie took it literally. They are a bunch of blue eyed, blonde soldiers from South America and even the higher ranking officers were wearing recycled nazi uniforms in the movie. (NPH’s character specifically comes to mind)
Probably shouldn’t take Gears down that pathway…
Also is it a cross over if one is an influence on the other?
i.e. The Kryll were ripped right from Pitch Black. Could toss Riddick in the game.

The COG are already seen as fascists by Outsiders though? And while the games aren’t as explicit about it the books/comic imply that it’s not all roses and flowers when the COG is around.

I actually liked Starship Troopers. The first one, not anything that came out after it.
But as for a Crossover? No. 100% no.
There should be no damn crossovers ever again, period.
Edit it to what? I don’t think crossover may have been the right word. I don’t think the Gears franchinse should end up like Starship Troopers, I was just thinking of a couple of Mobile Infantry skins, because of the similarities.
Does that make sense, or am I making it worse?

Agree with @GB6_Kazuya. No crossovers. Period.
Also Starship trooper characters aren’t that memorable. Its not very popular too. So it wouldn’t be a big hit if it was announced as a crossover.
