They are not completely removing it, only a part of their system they introduced in 5 to Gears and hasn’t received much positive feedback. Also appears to be a PvP only change from what I can tell.

One of these events better be a Horde one. When was the last time we had a Horde event? Frenzy?

December. I do not count Frenzy due to it being a permanent addition. Dana said they’re aware they dropped the ball on Horde events(out of how many other things?) and that - apparently - Op 4 will be better. Don’t quote me on that last bit as I only vaguely recall hearing it last week on stream and am not 100% certain that it was worded this way or that we will see better event focus for Horde in Op 4.

On the flip side Golden Gun is my favorite Limited Time Event so I hope they make it Permanent

How about bring back ranked guardian and dodgeball for the ppl who played gears the most !! Instead of having ranked tdm and ranked koth as well as having these modes on quick play it’s unfair that you the Tc have taken so much away from the regular players which has now ruined the game for so many of us which is why alot of players wont play 5 anymore. It really doesnt give us any choice as the same 3 modes are on ranked and quick play, and we feel as though we are being forced to play only those modes. BRING BACK GUARDIAN AND DODGEBALL GIVE THE PLAYERS A BETTER CHOICE OF MODES LIKE GEARS 4. if gears 5 stays the way it is you will lose so many fans and players I have heard so many already say if this is the way TC are going with the gears franchise then we wont be buying gears 6 what’s the point in spending out so much money on a game that is so badly broken and lost!!!

I really wish theyd just make a gnasher only mode for the cry babies. This is legit the only franchise where i see they kill their flagship weapon because people dont want to aim a gun and shoot and cry because they run into someone’s barrel shooting at them. Thats like Disney changes the lightsabers in starwars and making blaster pistols more powerful.

yup the card system is so messed up and as being proficient at both horde and vs i rather ONLY play horde because its a gnasher show in vs. I have well over 50 cards in some slots i cant do nothing with… and STILL no update on using the Carmines. PVE gets no love. But theyre spend their time on PVP killing every weapon. I like weapon variety. Its a shooting competitive game. Idek why any other weapon is available in vs other than gnasher. Theyll nerf anything else to the ground to make the idiots happy.
