I know exactly what I said, you seem to be the one who doesn’t realize what you said:
This implies 2 things:
-
New players don’t stick around because they don’t enjoy the close quarters combat brought about by the gnasher
-
Everyone who does play uses the gnasher almost exclusively
Let’s ignore that the first point is simply not certain, there’s likely a plethora of reasons why new players leave, but no-one can know for sure without asking all of them. Let’s also ignore that the second point is also statically inaccurate unless there is comprehensive data you are referring to with your claim of 90% of the kills being from the gnasher.
So ignoring that your argument has no evidence to substantiate it, I then tried to point out another flaw with it, that it is circular:
And this is when I said, "you attribute the reason people don’t pick up the game to the exact reason that most people DO pick up the game which is for the close quarter combat.” I think my wording confused you, what I should have said was, "you attribute the reason people don’t keep playing the game to the exact reason that most people DO keep playing the game which is for the close quarter combat.”
If no-one is playing this game because all the kills are with the gnasher (close quarters), then how is it that everyone who does play, uses it 90% of the time? You see, you’re taking the thing that makes it popular and saying it’s the problem.
All I was doing was trying to get you to see the absurdness of your argument and to point out that it’s not responsible to make sweeping generalizations without any legit data to back it up.
