What are you talking about??? Kait is the main character in 5
Iām meant to say that we need more diversit. Kait is not enough we need an asain character. They can be a secondary character like tai or dizzy.
Del, Anya, Mihn, Tai, Sam, Bernie, Cole, Rayna, Oscarā¦
Definitely a female asain character. With an interesting background story.

Kuerig
Nike
Gillette
Captain Marvel
Next up Gow 5 with some diversity

Minh, an Asian.
Edit: Why does it have to be Asian btw? We donāt have any other real stereotypes besides Mexican or redneck. Thereās no prominent Irishman or Russian, (unless the UIR counts). This claim is stupid for one of the most diversely casted game series in gaming.
More diversity is better. Irish and russian are welcome to. I also said asian woman.
I mean I guess. Iād say itās pretty diverse. Iām not arguing against it, but I meanā¦Jinn seems pretty Asian too.
But itās already pretty diverseā¦
Why? Name me literally one reason, why ādiversityā in ethnicities or skin colors is necessary for Gears.
Was Marcus less of an interesting character, because he was white? Would Dom be a better character, if he was Asian instead of Hispanic? (Also, such ethnicities as Mexican, English, Russian etc. Donāt exist in the Gears universe. They have Tyran, Gorasnaya etc.)
Also, Gears is already pretty ādiverseā. We can only hope, that they donāt jump on the political Propaganda train, that most of the western Entertainment industry seems to follow now. If they want to include black and Asian women, because they created such characters, fine. But they should not do it, because they feel like, they owe that to some group.
So, neither do we need diversity, because itās quite annyoing when forced and secondly, Gears is already one of the most ādiverseā games out there. Yet, it is not the a strength of the franchise. Gears strength is clearly its Gameplay, for MP and SP, as well as Story for the SP.
Edit: to be clear, diversity is not a bad thing either. It can have a positive effect, when used in an interesting and most importantly, fitting way. You know, when it appears, natural and not artificial (Looking at you, Battlefield V). Gears has done this very well and I think they can just continue that way. I donāt see any need to suddenly start putting a big focus on it. And they should, in my opinion, categorily reject requests for representation, simply because then we have to start discussing, where to draw the line.4
