How am I in diamond 3 getting matched up with people that seem like they’ve never played this game before? I am in no way the best player ever but the people I get matched up with seem like they’re in bronze. I have to stop playing KOTH because if I keep on I’ll just keep de-ranking! The ranking system seems like it in no way ranks you up or down based on individual skill. Anyone else having this problem?
This is how TC have implemented Matchmaking.
There is unfortunately no ceiling or restrictions as to who can join your game.
For example,
I’m Masters and the game will match Bronze - Gold players roll bring down the Team Score but going up against a Onyx stack almost always means a loss because the Gold/Silver players just don’t belong in those games and it’s unfair to them and everyone else.
The alternative is to party up.
However,
Get 2-3 diamond / masters players together and you’ll be looking at ridiculous matchmaking times and even then a bronze random will make their way into the team.
It’s just poorly designed and something that needs addressing.
