Lancer is fine. U missed
The lancer is pretty great for a wall ornament or just looking kinda cool I guess other than that it serves the same purpose as the halo ce ar.
If he missed then I can walk on water.

I like rank when i could help crossing and support. it great for us older players who stuggle on the 1v1, but even those have lag ping and hit issues. I clear each op pretty fast and have all my chivos for 5 except the rediculues versues ones.
I am actually now going back to Judgement and GOW 3 and working on missed chivos to stay entertained. games neeed to be fun but also need some sort of goal. when ist done you need another. better rank, higher Charter levels, chivos, rewards, TOD medals etc. when those disappear, then the game dispapoints.

This one had me scratching my head in 4. Core, active lancer.
In 5 Gives not Aktive Reload !, the Lancer is now Fine is a Support Weapon, but the Rest of Changes is Trash !
My example is of Gears of War 4, where its 8-10 for a down with an active depending where you hit. Looking back , this probably wasn’t a relatable example to post in this thread, my bad.
As for 5, the lancer in its current state is way too weak IMO. I agree with the OP that this should easily of been a down. The enemy made a mistake and committed to an animation without checking for enemies. They should pay when eating shots directly in the chest the whole animation, regardless of it being a support weapon. Honestly, this is where 4 got it right with competitive tuning. The weaker lancer in comp tuning G4 made sense as the game mode was directed more at team base play (actual friends playing with each other). In 5, it should be a viable gun when acting alone. Not only is harder to shoot in 5, it’s now weaker.

Leaving aside that the basic lancer can’t be active reloaded in PVP. That’s basically true for every weapon there now aside from Precision weapons, Gnasher(Maybe overkill, haven’t seen one of those though neither a Claw) and Power weapons.

Yes, other people pointed this out to me.
Only Loadout weapons can’t be active reloaded in PvP. Other weapons can.

sadly people would take my statement as an insult because they never faced the reality of the fact that gears tuning mostly always carried them tricking most into thinking they’re good
side note. once mouse got in the equation, a lot of stuff changed and for the better
there’s multiple wrong things here but you still expected insane amount of damage to carry your bad decision making and poor tracking
first of all, you should’ve started shooting as soon as they moved towards the boom, very uncommon for people to cancel a pickup button press while being shot at, surely that queen didn’t look like mlg material capable of such decision making
second, which supports my point entirely about bad aim
your tracking was awful, couldn’t follow the target moving forward and the desperate attempt of moving forward the crosshair resulted in more missed shots. You also moved left and right even while he was performing the pickup animation in which adjustments were absolutely not needed.
still most of the wrong there was because you twitched/flicked the roll animation instead of following it smoothly
(still that guy possibly left that situation on the brink of death )
with previous tunings someone with decent aim would’ve just mowed down the target in all former lancer’s TTK glory possibly triggering people about aimbot or other crazy stuff like that
while bad players would’ve been generally happy about still getting the down, that wasn’t ideal
oh and all of what I’ve said falls under the ‘skill gap’ category
if you were to have the skills to properly track the target, you would’ve got your down just like you thing you were supposed to
Sad is that some people really think that they are good players, when they are playing computer with keyboard and mouse
