I understood, thanks!
But is this a major problem? I can’t say, because I didn’t notice this at all.
I was made aware of this today.

It is not a major problem per se but super annoying because the Lancer, Gnasher and Snub all have different timing compared to every other weapon and when you only play PvE it is quite literally pointless to have the active bar changed for those three weapons. I much prefer the perfect active being in the middle instead of this ■■■■■■■■ where it speeds up way too much over the perfect active zone that is also placed right at the very front of the active reload zone.
Yeah, now that you mention, the snub’s active reload is difficult to get it right.
I HATED the timing of the active reload and much prefer the more classic timing that the loadout weapons have.
I would have preferred it for all weapons, but I guess TC wanted a comprimise.
Opinions, if they want to make consistency they should do one or the other, and I’m obviously for the perfect active being in the middle of the active zone instead of right at the start and purposedly sped up ridiculously much so you have less chances of hitting it.
I have less chances of hitting it with the new style. Kept missing my reloads. They probably couldn’t be bothered to come up with classic reloads for the Gears 5 weapons.
The timing’s been similar for 5 games, and TC decides they wanna change it for the 6th game? Made reloading the Gnasher a nightmare with its half reload crap.
Uh… how? I didn’t have these issues since starting to play Gears 5 whatsoever and have more problems with the current reload for Gnasher, Lancer and Snub so I’m curious.
Tbh, I don’t even recall Gears 4s reloads. I should with how much I played it… but I don’t.
Because my muscle memory kept betraying me and it was frustrating me.
the previous tuning might the best TC has ever done.
this tuning definitely needs work and should absolutely not be the final version.
not only are the delays annoying and counterintuitive but the weapon tuning is way off. gnasher is too strong and everything else is weak af
Yup had this on foundation at the boom. Started to lancer and he just casually picked it up and skipped on out
I don’t like this new tuning myself but this is not a reason why the tuning needs to be changed.
Why? Because:
1- You almost downed him but you missed your last shots.
2- You could have started shooting earlier and you would have downed him.
also, didnt they increase the mag size to 40 so you could down and finish the down?
how does that make sense with the way it is now? will it be upped to 50 now?
Saying they missed when you can clearly see the bullets impact and the blood spray. Crazy.
I’ll need to review OP’s footage again, but I’m nearly certain you’re incorrect.
Stacks don’t matter
Dark dry and terrible.
And when they do that i can go back to seeing endless whine threads like
“My teammates always unload their gnasher at start to get actives”
“Why does no one talk about how OP actives are?”
And finally, the very first stream after re introducing perfect active rounds and bringing back the gow1-3 way of getting perfect actives will be filled with crying, rambling about realism and threats of not purchasing gears 6 until its reverted.
Literally just gained massive respect for you.
I’m also an ■■■ and have no qualms saying what needs needs be said when playing with people…but if you get a good burn back I’ll laugh with you. I love a good burn.
