So played the free game Warzone for a while. Always hated Battle Royal but you know what? Still better than 5. Much better.

Came back to see if things became better or worse.

Saw Pahanu. What is that? Guys - bring you kids to work day does NOT mean that your kids should actually do your work (i.e. create a map). But maybe thats offensive… I think most kids these days would be more talented in creating a multiplayer map. Seriously … launching that map seems to be a smack in the face.

Like “see how we fu**ed up the game you loved for decades? Your only reason to own a Xbox? Well we are not done yet.”

Anyways. Will play a few rounds now and whine about the good old times :frowning:

I’m quite open for different style. Its just that it is completely childish. Naive. Some jungle textures and some blocks and …trees? planted on random places.

There is nothing interesting or cool or whatever and it is never voted. And when it is voted 4 people leave instantly (as opposed to two leavers over the game in normal games haha).

Pahanu is a Hawaiian term meaning puss-y.

Ex) Met this girl, gonna get me some pahanu tonight.

If I never see Blood Drive again it’ll be too soon. It’s a map from the late 00’s and it needs to stay there. We’re in 2020. Wide open maps with the least amount of camping spots possible should be the goal.

Subjective. The jungle setting and large dinosaur-esque skeletons give a very subtle growth to the lore from a story standpoint. Which is mainly what I look for in the maps. As backwards as it may be.

I enjoy it for what it is…
A forced hand to change the way most players play the game for a single match.

It’s fun to switch it up every once in a while. It’s far from my favorite map, but certainly not as bad as some people say it is.

Also, when you look at where the cover is placed, and the angles and lines of sight it creates, you can see it’s actually a map that had a lot of thought put into it.
