I dont know what I’m doing lol I been making gears vids just cause I can due to the console being able to capture. I just been doing like kill comps. Plan to upload clutches and 1vs and funny moments too but just curious. Peace out guys
I dont watch any content creators, as i would rather play myself than watch someone else.
However, me personally. I would rther watch funny stuff as gnasher play and snipe shots is old news. To me anyway.
i get that and respect it.
Could be an age thing, im no spring chicken.
Perhaps the younger generation would be more inclined to watch.
I sometimes like watching the lore stuff. Videos that cover the lore, character profiles, expanded universe etc.
I don’t like stuff that involves watching people play it. Why watch someone else play it when you can play it yourself?
I hate eSports stuff too.
Game played well - I Don’t mean montage or cherry picked clips and highlights of you doing well with an overall 1.5 K/D, I mean people who are consistently good and are recognized throughout the small community that is PvP Gears. This also applies to PvE, I think it would be interesting to know who the top “blank” users are or just a really well rounded PvE player that has mastered majority classes
Lore - I wanna be able to learn about the Gears history that wasn’t included in the game. Some channels have touched on this but Gears is such a niche series not a lot of people care.
Guides - Honestly the game does alright in this section already but it doesn’t hurt to go more in-depth about things.
I’d add humor/trolling but I think Gears is well passed that opportunity. The social aspect isn’t big enough and the game itself doesn’t draw many people. Gears 3 was peak comms/humor for me personally.
I honestly don’t watch content creators as in the ones who just play gears of war multiplayer and thats it.
I watch barricade the odd time just to keep up on the lore and what new release is coming out but thats it.
When it comes to gameplay well id rather play it. I would suggest that if you want to be a content creator then don’t limit yourself to Gears unless you just want to create from Gears.
Any way good luck with the videos.
Stop wall bouncing for the sake of wall bouncing. Couldn’t watch it.
im gonna do more gameplays and yeah im gonna try that adding some character to the channel by doing some commentary.
I assume you’re more a Versus player and more interested in that type of content? I hardly follow that side of the community anymore (even if it appears to be larger when I just look around for streams) - they (TC) ruined the fun out of it for me a while ago.
But I mean usually it’s the same stuff:
- Glitches (probably most popular but obviously with the most possible negative impact as well)
- Funny stuff (can also be glitches or bugs)
- Skillful stuff (like montages and stuff)
Its not interesting to watch someone win over randoms online. Because the randoms can be 56 years old playing with old controllers on an old as s TV against someone that has keyboard and mouse on the latest monitor…
It can be intresting to watch two teams of equal good players go against eachother.
bro im on the 1st gen xbox one, no monitor and my elite controllers right thumb stick has HARD BAD stick drift… thats why i just play reckless and rush.
Personally like watching top tier players with voice over commentary going through every step, what they were thinking, why they did what they did, etc.
Also still occasionally watch tutorials on the technical side. I’m relatively advanced in my repertoire but never too good to learn and pick up things imo
Also would be interesting to watch sort of a video forum where some folks got together and talked about the state of gears. I mean I don’t know how much I would watch it personally but it’s something I don’t see much of if at all.
I like to see nothing from them. Nothing at all. No videos, pictures or even mentions of any kind.
I hope you will be able to find some viewers because you’ll need that cash to buy some gear
.
Change the deadzones in the controller settings can help out with the stick drift at least. The first thing you should buy is a monitor then the controller and last the console. Good luck.
I played on a monitor recently & man it was nice. Plan to get one this month just always 2nd guessed it because I dont own the new xbox yet and dont know about hz. If i cant find one by the end of next month I might just get a pc for the FoV! I hope I get some more viewers too because I like streaming & making vids with this game.
and thanks for the help w/ deadzones
If you get a PC I would recommend getting into other games than Gears.
Console monitor, you should just go for one with at least 120 Hz and 1 ms. So that you can transition into the new consoles. ( remember that 4k 120 Hz needs 2.1 HDMI) so go for 1080p if you’re uncertain about the monitor.
For PC you’ll need a lot of cash for both Monitor and the rig. And go for a minimum of 240hz monitors but there’s up to 390 Hz.
thats why im leaning more towards the new console tbh but im getting impatient. i heard the only thing with pc that really expensive is the graphics card?
You’ll need a processor and a motherboard too. and something that keeps that cool all the time. And of course the SSD.
Graphics card and processors and SSD is where you would spend most of your money.
Not saying that anything else is cheap. And you have to learn how to put it together yourself.
Otherwise, you’ll have to pay someone to do it for you.
I mean If you are serious about gaming and streaming I guess it’s worth putting 4x the money on a PC rather than a Series X. Cuss if you go PC you better go big.
You do have the choice between AMD and Nvidia as well. You probably need to talk to some people that are into that before buying a PC. Because there’s a lot of fanboys on PC aswell.
Every single streamer that has a viewership on twitch is always wallbouncing with a 4 stack on ranked with trash music aiming for clips, it gets old super quick.
Do something different and you might do well, but idk, the game hardly has any viewers.
