In the recent dev stream Octus said the game is pretty forgiving of lower end specs. He ran it on a couple laptops.

These are the minimum requirements:

My question is, will there be infinite ā€œradiantā€ missions to play?

In XCOM you can choose to play unlimited non-story missions to level up characters. Theyā€™re just generic ā€œaliens attacked this place, sort them out!ā€ style missions which appear periodically and donā€™t progress the plot. However on the XB at least as you complete more and more and they stack up on your save files the game starts to slow down and suffer. Loading takes longer etc. Is this a factor in Tactics I wonder?

Good question. I think an SSD would fix load times.

My question is, will this game require a constant internet connection? Iā€™m assuming yes.

Iā€™m wondering if theyā€™ll bring back as many previous characters to be playable. Kinda like Gears Pop and how theyā€™re promoting Cole Train for pre-order. So that means Marcus, Delta Squad and even Kait could end up being playable?

Itā€™s not just me who thought that sudden pedantry was a little unecessary, then.

At any rate, Iā€™ve got GamePass already on PC so Iā€™ll be able download and play it at no cost.

Seeing as itā€™s a campaign only game I donā€™t see how Kait could be in it. And to be fair I hope they donā€™t bring Delta because theyā€™d just overshadow the main characters of the game kinda like they do in 4 and 5

As much as I love Delta their story is over and Iā€™m interested in Gabeā€™s story

They could feature in these Veteran missions. Or some other content after main Campaign completed. Iā€™m not sure how Cole even fits in Campaign, despite being pre-order.

I guess some people prefer pedantry only when they arenā€™t on the receiving end.

I agree with you, it doesnā€™t make sense to use those characters in Tactics unless they were just skins for generic ā€œheroā€ units. If that were the case then Iā€™d like to see every Gears character as a unit skin.

I know they are called Delta but TC should have given them a different squad name. It just didnā€™t feel right them being called Delta.
