Ghost would like to argue otherwise.
And haven’t we all gotten annoyed at someone doing something badly or not quite how we would have? Especially when it happens with randoms or someone we don’t exactly know very well.

I’ve seen that happen on very rare occasions where you can vault over that wall and not alert them. It’s extreemely rare though. I’d still much rather just walk it though. Much safer.
I played as a freezing Gunner with Tactician and Pilot.
Pilot came in very handy couple of times. Once he got hold of drop shot he would stun the scions, I would freeze them and Tactician would finish them off. This strat worked great and we finished the hive with no problem.
The potential rage-fuel for this hive is infinite. Glad it’s gone tomorrow. Really hope we get the Warren for the weekly, still need the Scorcher cards for Cole.
Definitely, it’s why I stopped playing Gears 5 for a while, but after all the other characters were able to play the hive, it’s a lot more manageable. Still a nightmare with most randoms though, just like The Warren will be.
I probably should stop with the Duo-runs but with 2 players there’s always some nonsense ruining runs. Even the lockers in the staircase fight killed me once cause they were right next to each other and blocked me from running past the Dropshot Scion there. Dropshot Scions with their shields are the absolute worst in general.
100% this
I think my highlight came when both teammates were dead with seemingly no hope in sight, in the big circular room near the end part, already in deep venom, and two dropshot scions and a buzzkill scion surrounding me. I’m in no-man’s land. No problem since I got my silverback and can take all three of them out in a few seconds! Seeing as I can last a super long time in venom due to rear armor, it’s also no problem for me to rescue my teammates from the pods in deep venom and everyone makes it out past it in full red. My rear armor also means I can run back into the venom to refill my dropshot, and grab one for Keegan from the dead scions too. Now Keegan has his resupply ready and we’re all set for the final encounters. What would’ve been a crushing fail gets turned into a shocking win and no other class could’ve done that except maybe Brawler.
Yeah, those are what mess up my solo runs in most cases too. Once the shield is up, they’re tough, especially when there’s more of them.
That sounds like a thriller

Pretty sure those guys had given up and were in a state of disbelief lol. I just think I was lucky it happened to be drops and buzzkills remaining otherwise it would’ve really been over. Which brings me to the point that mulchers and icers really need to be prioritized because those are most likely to be game-enders.
Definitely. Unless you are a Gunner with Freeze Resist, all other characters are doomed immediately.
My Anchor’s barrier would like to argue with that… they only kill if one comes up from behind and decides that instead of the Silverback right next to it, it’s going to shoot the player further away or somehow manages to perfectly track and shoot a rolling player that was also basically behind cover from said roll.
I just Marksman snipe them away. Torque Bow and Longshot just works wonders in this hive.
Although ammo is kinda tight tbh.
You both right. I was thinking if there are two Mulcher scions before supply room ( where TB is) and they become alerted and start shooting.
I did the same thing as Anchor and Marksman during my solo attempts on this map. Shoot with TB first then finish off with a boltok.
In my experience, they always seem to go immediately for the silverback, even when there are other teammates around they could be shooting.
I’ve had the opposite experience, Mulcher idiot comes around a corner after the tile with lockers and instead of shooting the Silverback goes for me. I don’t see how anyone thinks this hive is fun, all it does is make me want to throw stuff.
Dude. I literally hop the wall everytime and never alert anything
I must be in the minority, but I never have any problems with the wall
It can be fun when people know what they want to do, what the other teammates’ classes are capable of, and are trusting each other which is rare in random lobbies. As much as it makes you want to throw things, it also makes the times you get a good squad and clear it all the more rewarding.
