About 30 fails tonight. Either rushers that trigger everything in earshot or whenever I switched it up to a clay freezing build it turned to drop shot scions. Didn’t manage once to get to the first supply room without triggering even when we were stealth. It’s odd because until tonight I’ve been fine getting in the room.
So still no finish. Will try again tomorrow. Managed Last stand on Incon, so not a complete write off.
Hmm, maybe it could be a walking slow-vault (one command at a time, not run + slide + melee at once) from the furthest side of the cover, closest to the wall, might work. I would also ask how many times that worked and which spawns they were though. It’s possible the times it worked were on the spawns where the scions were situated furthest away from the door. In my experience, 9/10 times a random takes the vaulting route it alerts the scions and turns the other two into icicles as they are pushing the door button, or otherwise causes us to barely make it in while the scions angrily crowd the door which isn’t ideal. I’ve seen the rare occasions where it didn’t alert them though as you say.

Yeah I get a few hours tomorrow morning (my time). If not I will wait until the next run!
For me, they get alerted rarely when I do that (maybe 15 percent of the time) so I just don’t risk it.
The casual player is overly anxious and sometimes erratic so they tend to just do things without thinking unfortunately. That may work in horde but in escape you actually have to know what you are doing-I think that that’s why I like the mode so much. That’s also why a lot of people don’t like it though…
Solo-ing a map definitely isn’t as hard now as it once was since your progressed is saved after the safe room. I think this change makes it probably 10 times easier.lol.
I know I’m late but didn’t you ever get The Line on Master?
Yeah and that would be me. I panic and forget the simple things a lot of the time. Even to the point of not firing an Ult and then realising when I’m dead! 
I like the mode a lot, I just wish I’d grown into it when the game launched rather than coming at it now. It’s a brutal experience for a noob. You either try to work your way though a map skill levels and have people either quit or just want to rush it, or you start higher up and feel a burden learning in silence.
No the closest I got on Master was just before the exit. I only once got a group of randoms that kept trying but they were still rushing it with brawlers. I will get it next time 
I think that’s key right there. Not knowing what you’re doing is normal if you haven’t played the hive much, or haven’t beaten it before. The problem comes when choosing not to defer to players who may know more, whether because of pride, inability to trust others, or underestimating their abilities. Every action counts, whether pulling a lever, pushing a switch, picking up a weapon or ammo box, or merely crossing into a new part of the map. If not sure, always best to ask first. Adding to the problem is the lack of communication. It’s crazy that no one communicates in a mode that requires cooperation to win. I rarely ever talk, but I’m active in chat because I’m on PC and have keyboard. I assume most Xbox players don’t have one of those, unfortunately.
Mindboggling, considering that keyboards are dirt cheap.
And they might have some just lying around (one I use was found lying around.)
You’ll definitely get it. I was lucky to have a really good player show me all the maps when I first started out so I skipped some steps that you may be going through now. If you stick with it, you’ll only get better over time.
Not sure if you saw but I recently posted my first game on ice queen on master.
It was painful to watch my old self and hilarious seeing how little I actually knew.
I think it’s just laziness more than anything. They don’t think it’s important enough to communicate. Or they are just shy.
The barracks when it first came out used to drive me nuts because people would blindly pull venom fast without reason or logic. In hindsight it’s probably just casual players being casual.
Yeah I spent £10 on a mini one from amazon when I quickly learned that people didn’t like to use comms.
I can count on one hand the number of times a random has suggested anything on escape other than ‘run’. I honestly thought my headset was knackered for quite a while or not working in game. I’m more than willing to spend another couple of minutes setting up my class with suggestions from someone more experienced but it just doesn’t really happen. I’ve had plenty of abuse though after a run fails 
I will check it out, I watched your Barracks solo runs tonight. Your clay run is a prime example of holding nerve when I would have launched myself out of the window Use of the venom I hadn’t considered or would have had the bottle to try. Especially the run to the safe room. Your clay seems to stay alive in the dark venom a long time, does his Ult help with that?
Bait Armor works as venom resistance. Also, Clayton’s ultimate makes him immortal for 6 seconds. Is the barracks the daily? I haven’t been online yet.
I’m pretty sure the first time the barracks was solo’d was when I did it as lahni in Op3. That game was very intense. I was in thick venom for almost the whole game.
That was back when elite drones needing 2 active long shots to kill them and scions needed like 6 active long shots to kill them.
Ran it with randoms earlier today and one of the randoms immediately pulled every fan in sight.
Guess how that went. Lol
It depends on what classes are present and if you can handle the Juvies without venom while luring the Scions away from the saferoom door leading to the barracks - assuming it’s Mulchers that only appear with the Sniper spawn at the start, you can run past the Buzzkills very easily(now watch TC relocate them to the other tile) - as well as flipping both bridge levels asap, you can safely flip the venom fans immediately.
Of course if you do have a Blademaster you’ll want to wait for the venom ash to at least cover the tile next to the two bridges or platforms or whatever you wanna call em… but this is randoms we’re talking about.
I wanted to skip the juvie spawn. They pulled both available fans too early, and we died in venom because of it.
I’m making a point of pulling fans from now on lol.
I just completed the gold time as Blademaster with 2 randoms and they really seemed to go out of there way to make sure that I could never fight in venom in either act.
One of them was even a Tactician lmao.
