I think it’s near-impossible to mark 5 enemies before your first mark disappears though. I consider 3 to be a good bounty. I normally play with friends anyway so they tend to help out, so we probably average 6 targets altogether. From waves 11 upwards, given the enemy have more health then any splash damage done will contribute to the cooldown anyway I tend to prioritise getting a couple of marks at key choke points where there tend to be small groups of enemies together.
Which it shouldn’t be if the 2nd part of the passive ability would work as described.
I’ve done 5 two times and that’s it. It is hard but team mate marks help a lot.
I never really had time to pay attention to it but sometimes it felt like the game nuked Ally-marks as well even without Spotter Support. Any idea if this is actually the case?
It’s strange how it works all the time. Very inconsistent to put it the best.
On many occasions I’ve seen the artillery drop twice on same targets, even though they were already dead and gone.
Isn’t that because multiple players can mark the same target?
Yes.
Yeah I think so but it’s funny to watch especially if other enemies are running up and get hit by the second strike.
The main issue with Demo Players right now is you can tell most of them are so used to just mindlessly Spam the Map with 8 Booms and 6 GL Rockets.
When played with more patience instead of (tryin to) mowing all the Waves down on his own the Demo is in a perfect Place now.
You can already tell a Demo is a rookie when he blows his 3 Boomshot’s in Wave 1 and demands a Locker by wave 3.
Also i see alot of Players still only Marking one Target EVERY Time they use their Airstrike.
To be fair the mark system is really hard to get multiple on the Xbox. Limited field of view, 1 second wait between each one, and it doesn’t even last long enough. There are times when I spend the entire wave trying to get a good set of marks and then never even use my ult 
The demo ult is much more than an oh crap button. It comes back amazingly fast when you max the cooldown perk. I’ve rarely had an issue getting through a master game needing more than one maybe two GL lancers.
What are you talking about? Carrier + matriarch spawn? You mark both, and spam your ult button 2-3 times and they’re dead.
Swarmak? Mark it and ult. Mark other targets while it’s staggered and then ult again on the swarmak and clear the wave and damage the boss again. Repeat until swarmak is dead.
Biggest issue with the demolitions class is his ult being so unbelievably broken and short CD due to how much damage he does and his boom damage. GL’s don’t deal as much damage as a boom due to not damage boosting cards for it. It can be good for matriarch if you have no ult, but why wouldn’t you have an ult for a matriarch?
?? The Demo literally has a Custom GL skill which provided the same damage boost as Custom Boomshot across all levels. Hit an active with that skill on for the GL and its damage skyrockets into oblivion.
Does that card actually work with the rockets? And you have to active it for the damage for extra damage on rockets? If so interested, as I figured it was only the bullets as the descriptions on a lot of cards are very vague/bad or out right lie about what they actually do.
Even so, I guess I could swap out my grenade capacity for that. But then again, idk how good that’d be. Boomshot active has a bigger AoE and has a faster aim-fire safety as well as no weird (you cant shoot here) angels the gl might have.
I’ll prob give it a shot but the bad thing is that you would need to spend 4000 for a single gl instead of just suiciding 500 for a boomshot and again.
It does make quite a difference from when I’ve used it. GL rockets get a boost when used with an active reload already and the skill makes that even higher. Don’t remember if the fixed damage bonus works on them though, I tested it like in Op 1 or something.
I’ve finally started leveling my Demo and can confirm this. The modifiers also increase the damage from artillery strikes. If you’re fully perked, have the GL card, and hit an active reload you can basically one-shot any boss including Kestrel or Carrier
