If i am not playing on my own, with Bots, i am on with Forum Buddies, or Ex Forum Buddies, and they are freaking awesome.
I have not been on for a while though, seems like years, but it has been a few weeks. Not feeling too well for long hours on the game.
Some times, and it is rare, my Son plays Gears 6 Horde, and he creates the game. For myself personally, i stopped making my own Custom Games waiting for people to join, because i have terrible luck, and 9 times out of Ten, no one joins. And when someone does, it is one person who leaves anyways.

I just think personally its a waste to fill up every thread with the same issue (If you can even call the new ranking system an issue)
I wasn’t really talking about the ranking system. It’s a broad point about if they are listening then why do they keep doing things no one is asking for and not doing things we are asking for.
Like things I mentioned in the OP. And the fact that PC players crash consistently. It’s the only game that frequently crashes on my PC. Basically, all gears fans would probably prefer them not to release another single piece of content before they fix everything else that is broken. There are innumerable glitches in this game. Take some time. “Listen” to your player base, and fix the game.
It is not garbage. Winning should play a major factor in your rank. There is also a large portion of self skill that is used in this ranking system. You can get to gold in Gridiron without winning a single match if you play good enough. By then you need to win to rank up.
Are the individual GP points perfect? Prolly not. Thats why they are doing a preseason. To adjust those points to better the experience (look at the reaction KOTH is getting for example)
Leaderboards? Really?
Leaderboards literally mean nothing. Thats what Gears 3 was. They are whoever plays the most. Whoever can spam the easiest ribbon that gives the most points. K/D means nothing if you lose.
Let’s be honest. There is no perfect system. What we do know is GoW4 and 5 systems were complete trash and this is much more enjoyable experience.
I bet you couldn’t name anything nobody has asked for this operation.
My view, operation 4 has killed ranked play. I like you can see how you are progressing up the ranks but by far the worst thing is the wait time to get a match in ranked. I used to get ranked matches within a minute bu now you can often wait 10 mins. This has killed the game for me.
Store looks much better at least that is one thing. Not sure about the coins thing.
Also please bring back TDM and Escalation.
Another thing, please bring back active reload.
Oh, one other small thing, one medal has a requirement to win one of each ranked match, if you aren’t very good you ain’t going to win a free for all match on ranked…not that you want to wait 20 mins for a match.
Please listen. I love Gears but the ranked problems are making me play other games instead.
