Ranked system works for me. Maybe get better at the game modes you play and do your tdm warm ups in social? Not like they completely removed the game mode for now. And from what I’ve learned servers work fine when you have good internet, if you are having server connection issue that cause rank to feel lackluster 95% of the time it’s because of your internet connection. If your ping bounces about 150, don’t play till you have better connection or your just gonna stress yourself out 
Where are you getting this from? Johnathan Taylor (Lead PvP game designer) specifically stated in the Dev stream that “player population health” was “quite good” and was not a factor in why it was removed.
Okay yet you still complaining when you know they will bring it back, deeming you as a complainer and got nothing else to say, enjoy the game or dont this is what we got, and me and my friends couldn’t be happier. Sorry that a game hurts your mental.

- I never said anything about lag or ping.
- The Gears developers said that their NEW RANKING SYSTEM doesn’t work with TDM, not that I was getting sad from losing.
- Warm-ups in social for what? They removed Ranked TDM, nothing to warm-up for.

Ok so let me make it simple for you. Just because something doesnt work with 1 thing doesnt mean its broken.
I used that analogy because TMobile and Verizon use different systems just like TDM and KoTH use different scoring systems

Let me make it simple for you. TDM is running on the exact same system as KOTH and 2v2 Gnashers. Your analogy does not work.
If something doesn’t work for one of the most popular modes, then it doesn’t work.

Each mode uses a different scoring system they dont all use the same one
I don’t know how it runs under the hood and neither do you. You didn’t even know that was one of the reasons they were taking TDM out of ranked.
You are telling me that TC wrote separate unique code for each ranking system? Seems like an awful use of manpower to me. I also fail to see how it could work for 2v2 Gnashers and KOTH but not TDM. It just isn’t logical.
Also, you should watch their Dev stream from when they announced the removal of TDM . They talk about wanting to appease E-sports and about how they couldn’t get the Ranking system to work for TDM, and how it is not even guaranteed that they are planning to bring it back to Ranked.
I never claimed to know how the ranking system works. Also all I said was that the removal of TDM was more than the ranking system not working with it

Forgetting my reasoning, where was my head at. Ok, Fortifications restricted to level 1 for everyone but the Engineer, for obvious reasons. Ok, so, most people agree that an Engineer is an important Class/person in the team, opening up the Fabricator, which i am totally against, sort of puts the Engineer, as i have been calling it, in a state of redundancy. Everyone and his/her Dog will build regardless of who is in the team now, especially the randoms, noobs and the selfish and spiteful people in the community, and lets face it, there are a lot of them.
Restricting the Fortifications will not stop them from building, but is might make them wonder why they need to if there is an Engineer in the team. And for those that do not want to play with an Engineer, they at least get to build something.
I am a little worried my favourite Class will soon be a second thought in the game, and thanks to The Coalition for being so damn near sighted.
Opening up the Fabricator to everyone i strongly disagree with, compromise, and restrict everything to level 1 and i can cope with it, but, make no mistake, i am still against it.
Guilty as charged, fun as fun can be regardless. I had 3 level 4 Weapons Lockers, 2 were full of Lancer GL’s and i had Gnashers on the other one.
As for Red. He has some damn good points, and a passion for the game. I have nothing against him, mostly and wish him the best.

Would have trolled your game anyway irrespective of fabricator freedom …
I mained as Engineer in G4 Horde with this type of Fabricator since launch. I had no problems whatsoever. If anything watching noobs purchase 5 x level 1 spikes on Wave 1 would allow me to NOT waste my time & I’d just leave the match.
It’s a really easy tool to spot the noobs & spiteful & selfish & abhorrent & whatever else lol

Curious to know what difficulties you play on and whether you play with a coordinated team in a party chat? Because from my experience, you are always going to run into idiots online if you play with randoms… its the internet afterall, it just makes people seem like control freaks when they as engineers wanted all the control to themselves e.g “noone touch the fabricator, because I’m the engineer and that’s that” or “deposit” (So i can build my turret base to farm kills)
How you gonna try to control randoms who more than likely just wanna play the game, you can’t is the answer, you start tryna tell people how to play their game they’re just gonna do the opposite of what you just told them to do
So solution, host a private or public lobby as engineer, title the lobby ‘I’m engineer, deposit, level 17+’ if you play with a team of friends you’ll setup a private, if its just you and 1 other friend setup a public so at least if someones playing up you can just kick them simple as that, back in Gears 2 horde we didn’t need engineers so you can see why someone like me is opposed to another player having control over me in my own game, just play the game freely.

The problem is, the broken rank system that was “fixed” is still garbage. Listen to the people who say gears has been team based since day one, but not until the last 2 games did you have to depend on your team to win to make any progress. People are brainwashed by “tiers” and weapon skin “rewards”. We need good old-fashioned LEADERBOARDS that are based off of your own performance.
But he is talking about them “listening” it’s a broad statement.
If i am not playing on my own, with Bots, i am on with Forum Buddies, or Ex Forum Buddies, and they are freaking awesome.
I have not been on for a while though, seems like years, but it has been a few weeks. Not feeling too well for long hours on the game.
Some times, and it is rare, my Son plays Gears 6 Horde, and he creates the game. For myself personally, i stopped making my own Custom Games waiting for people to join, because i have terrible luck, and 9 times out of Ten, no one joins. And when someone does, it is one person who leaves anyways.

I wasn’t really talking about the ranking system. It’s a broad point about if they are listening then why do they keep doing things no one is asking for and not doing things we are asking for.
Like things I mentioned in the OP. And the fact that PC players crash consistently. It’s the only game that frequently crashes on my PC. Basically, all gears fans would probably prefer them not to release another single piece of content before they fix everything else that is broken. There are innumerable glitches in this game. Take some time. “Listen” to your player base, and fix the game.
It is not garbage. Winning should play a major factor in your rank. There is also a large portion of self skill that is used in this ranking system. You can get to gold in Gridiron without winning a single match if you play good enough. By then you need to win to rank up.
Are the individual GP points perfect? Prolly not. Thats why they are doing a preseason. To adjust those points to better the experience (look at the reaction KOTH is getting for example)
Leaderboards? Really?
Leaderboards literally mean nothing. Thats what Gears 3 was. They are whoever plays the most. Whoever can spam the easiest ribbon that gives the most points. K/D means nothing if you lose.
Let’s be honest. There is no perfect system. What we do know is GoW4 and 5 systems were complete trash and this is much more enjoyable experience.
