Lol I wouldn’t be surprised for that rating. Most of it are people who strictly play multiplayer.
The game runs like crap on PC constant crashes, frame drop, and a unplayable campaign ridden with audio problems, mouse sensitivity reset and glitches that force to reload chapters over and over again. Nothing has been really fixed for PC game is already dead on steam with less than a 1000 players

Replying to PC framerate’s drops: The issue was due to latest Windows Update as reported by @GhostofDelta2 and the resolution is by re-installing latest driver, I went through that case, and it seems it is gone as per the suggestion, I have 2080Ti though…
As for the crashes, my game froze many times in Escape and don’t know what’s the reason behind that. So, confirmed!

I have a 2080ti too and haven’t had a freeze whatsoever. Only the initial disconnects people were having. Nothing like an entire freeze/ crash.

I see, hoping that it’s a memory leak nothing more…It just happens after hours of playing Escape in the same lobby

Im sorry man it seems that you are not having a good time on these forums.
We here mostly talked about 91 % percent of the time on the MAN’S GAME : Gears of war Series, we occasionally talked about chess, Contra related games or Predator movies.
I do agree that Gears 5 is catered to the casuals, that doesn’t mean that this forum is casual at all, most of the players here on this forums push the game to the limits and a lot of them are very deep knowledgeable about the game.
Maybe you could find yourself more comfortable doing other things on the internet like watching THE FLINSTONES on Netflix or going to Fortnite forums or Apex Legends forums for that matter.

TC is getting the point I think. It’s all over YouTube, the forms, and the xbox marketplace is at a whopping 2.8.
Once the game gets fixed over time he will he washed out. Till then I jump in the game to the daily tour then G_TF_O of the kiddy pool and go pay GOW4.
Same. And I had to downgrade to a GTX 970 because my 2070 up and randomly died.
I play probably 60/40 console/PC and other than the texture and lighting downgrade on my PC, I don’t see a difference. Neither has had performance issues for me.

Game doesn’t deserve that rating, it’s far better than a 3 at least and any fan voting lower than that is simply not thinking logically and was never a fan to begin with. After all, it’s not Judgment.
My main concern is the same as it’s been since Gears 4; no progression earned in private bot multiplayer matches. I can play Horde and Escape privately, just me and my wife, and enjoy the game immensely, but sometimes the medals require multiplayer and much like Gears 3, the preferred method is to not be forced to participate in the toxic community. This game would be perfect if they simply added progression to the one mode they left it out of.
