This and navigating interface / pointless recruiting system are my only gripes. I can imagine this game being much more focused with just heroes and some rescued soldiers along the way (so its for example 10 soldiers / each class 2)
Trying to level up some soldier + making sure he/she looks stylish is pointless when you get regularly bunch of higher level recruits.
In endgame you can have like 26 soldiers? Why? Taking care of half of them is a nightmare.
Veteran mode is terribly limiting. I want to play with my squad and first 3 missions are one person only and fourth one is a ■■■■■■ scavenger run with 2AP. ■■■■ that
Gameplay is a total blast. Technically I just adore it. Lorewise its nice…its checking all the boxes but some of these decisions above I just dont get.
I really hope NG+ is on its way or at least some update with much more options to play so I can play again this otherwise fantastic game.
