I am not even sure what to do. I am not be a good Gears player and that is fine. I do like to play. But when you run right up to a player from behind and get a point blank shot full on and the player rolls, eats a second, and gets a 1 shot kill I just cannot compete. I got 88% on 2 hits. My ping was 18 when I looked at that time. Nothing is wrong with my stuff. Not sure what to do.

And something that has to be a glitch. I was one shot killed. At the exact same time my teammate was one shot killed. We were not close enough to both be hit without the majority of the gnasher shot going between us. It did not even look like I was hit. In the kill cam the player turned the corner, shot my teammate full on and I was not even in the shot. And in the live recording I saw the player turn and they were not even pointed towards me.

And the lancer. I hear it is op or way to weak. I hit a player with a full mag. The player ran over and grabbed the drop shot. Turned and killed me with a quick drop. Fine but I only got credit for 5 hits.

Then I get thrown in a match were my ping was 27 and my teammate had a 43. The rest of the lobby was over 100 with a few over 300.

I do not care about results. I am not big on rank. I care nothing about cosmetics. But this is real for me. I cannot figure it out. And I am not the only one on my friends list. Tried to get players last night and they all said they were waiting for the mp to be fixed from these exact issues.

I just really want to play. But looking at my videos of the live play and slowing it down I am definitely getting the hits I am seeing. So I cannot figure out how to correct it. Even seen teammates having these problems. Which is why they just will not play right now.

Excellent news that gears 5 is getting fixed,gamers getting there rank and everything else,Hopefully by this weekend it might be kind to me to play horde again and not getting kicked (error)many thanks again for the info

I honestly having fun playing Gears 5.

Campaign is visually stunning.

MP could use a little toning down on the stopping power.

Horde character locks are a bummer, but I use my chosen character about 90% of the time anyway.

I have awful ping in ranked, I haven’t played a game yet with ping less than 110. Most times it’s like 140 upwards.

Also why is there no execution or warzone in ranked /quickplay? These modes are gow to me.

Just my perspective here, but I don’t understand how people enjoy multiplayer in gears 5. It’s so lancer based & full of camping. If I wanted that I’d play call of duty!

It’s just a different mechanical played game. There are a whole lot of wall campers though, but the versus mode in this game is definitely better played with friends. With communication and teamwork makes it really fun to me.

True they had that shotgun down in gears 4, the game can only get better from here on out. Hopefully they keep adding content.

I agree with op. Fixes are coming fast which is very welcome. I’m still undecided on horde mode though. I need to put more time into it before passing judgement.

I think the game is a dumpster fire and I side with nearly more than half the community that thinks the weapon damages are too high and super casualized. But to each their own I guess.

It might just be heavy on the lancer as it just came out & a lot of first time gears are playing. When people learn the maps and become more comfortable the gnasher will probably start to dominate again.

People seem to forget all the problems with Gears 4 when it launched, or every other Gears launch before that. The game has potential and will definitely be amazing after a few updates and content drops

I think what people seem to forget is that games should launch in a functioning state. If they don’t, they go the way of Division 1, Anthem, Fallout 76… etc.

I think what people seem to forget is that we were still in early access, the game has been out a week and it’s still broken. Now that it’s out, wow. You think there’s lots of posts now about how the game is trash? Wait til aaaaaaall the other people join in the fun of this broken game.

I think what people seem to forget is that this is the only industry that the people that are ripped off and sold broken products actually MAKE EXCUSES FOR THE POEPLE THAT SOLD THEM THE GARBAGE. There isn’t a single other industry that isn’t regulated, protected or somehow overseen by either a public or private entity that ensures the quality of the products sold to the consumers. It’s absolutely insane. I don’t understand how so many people can just bend over and take it over and over and over again and keep making excuses… gamers these days are like hipster battered wives…

Guaranteed people will still complain with the same complaints when gears 6 comes out.

On topic though, it’s a fun game. I need to try escape again now that servers are stable… Ish.
