If you want to have a good laugh go look at the steam player base. Peak players of all time was 9,878 and in the last 24 hours it is 499. That is crazy, especially as the Steam players purchased the game.

Not to mention that on Xbox live the game is now 23rd of the most played game to give that some context Black ops 4 is 15th and that game is over a year old ha ha.

I do not like to see this happen to gears but I do like to see this happen to a game studio that pushed an awful title that has lost its identity and was released with so many problems. They are getting what they deserve. I said it before and I will say it again, I played judgment more then this “Gears” game.

I’m not going to lie, I’ve played Judgment more than Gears 5 as well. I quite enjoyed playing FFA whenever I booted it up.

Its funny because Judgment was the worst gears title but had a few things that I loved, like the breach shot and free for all and I will never forget the gears reaper, that was super cool and even the cleaver was nice idea at the time.

Oh how the mighty fall lol. I think we will be seeing gears 6 way quicker then expected. But saying that didn’t Microsoft give TC 2 gears titles to make, so this could be it.

maybe in 2 years time it will be unveil , since Gears 5 didn’t got the financial expectations surpassed.

Gears is in a strange spot, Gears 5 has shown that you cant change the formula that much with out the hardcore fans hating it, which means it will always be hard to bring in a new player base. To me gears has always been the fighting game of the shooting world, high skill level and super unforgiving but amazing if you put the time in.

As far as I can see I think two scenarios could happen:

  1. The Coalition abandoned the Gears of War Franchise since they are not able to cater FORTNITE OR APEX LEGENDS Players , they are not gonna create a game for the long fans and supporters to like it and buy it , so they just abandon the game .

  2. The coalition creates a new gears of war 6 focused on long time fans and supporters and make a good profit from it.

I could sympathize with you if you were talking a out game play but I dont understand why all of you flip out about cosmetics. Dont want to buy it? Dont, they will adjust the prices accordingly.

What’s the achievement in saying this? If they don’t know the game is rubbish by now, this isn’t going to change it.

Seems a bit pointless to me. Can never understand why people make threads on this.

I have given up on Gear of Crap 5’s multi-player matchmaking, people still quits in King of Hill ranked matches, some issues I noticed;

  • Weapons are unbalanced (don’t give me crap, that it happened with other Gears too, does that means, Gears team never learn from past, how many more sequels will make them learn? ), e.g. turret kills you so quickly and barely let you move. People in cover with lancer can take you down in less than 2 secs if they have successful reload, really annoying as they are waiting close to spawn for you.

  • Some players (seems they are on PC) moves so fast in game, not sure if they got high specs machines, but me on xbox seems like chasing Sonic The Hedgehog.

  • Variable reloads are annoying, you are not really sure how much your character was able to reload.

  • Holding ‘LB’ doesn’t allow you to press ‘RB’ while in GoW4 you can.

  • You can’t use foot’s sound to pin point where enemy is whereas in earlier gears you can.

  • Frags, smoke, fire, electric grenades have no bounce they just goes off, crap no warning.

  • Server always have connection issues, never found any server which is smooth. ( I got fibre connection and all games are smooth)

Thought about it too and when just looking at what you get for free in new cod. Its the best to not let tc whore and destroy the series.

I don’t know what to make of this game. I have gave up on collecting skins. i’m just gonna play till the game pass expires. I use default marcus and a simple looking swarm. I want them to fix the gameplay and produce better maps more so than skins.

Will try it, but not sure if headphones plugged in through Xbox controller will output 7.1 or no.
