Description says “…increased by 1000%”. Base cost for a barrier is 2000. It costs 20.000 ingame. 2000*1000=2.000.000.
Notice the difference?
100% of 2000 is 2,000 (equal)
200% of 2000 is 4,000 (double)
1000% of 2000 is 20,000 (10x)
I don’t understand your point, you’re working with percentages not just straight up multiplying.
