Thanks for telling me
I don’t play Horde too much anymore (too easy) but when I do I’ll keep that in mind.

The description may say that but I have big doubts the change is actually there in gameplay.
Otherwise Cole would currently be invincible while running.
They did it to make the game Xbox Series X|S enhanced. See, it’s right here in the first line of the new What’s Up that this TU was about getting ready for the new console:
Everyone knows that pulling LT to bring up a social tab is the optimal version of a social tab.
Geez man, get with the times and welcome to the next generation…
This is also the reason that the big PVE update was delayed as well. They just couldn’t get the LT/RT swap down for all regions, so they ran into localization errors and Microsoft shut that stuff down.
/sarcasm
This was actually the original reason why I switched away from Default to Classic Alt, back in early days of GoW4 horde - I would play as Scout a lot, and running past covers I would get sucked into that… So I switched to Classic Alt which has different buttons for run and for cover, and never had that problem again…
Squads and In Match has been left in a bit of a mess eh. Needs sorting quick
I will try this by assigning another keybind for cover…Thanks, it seems work but I now have to get used to this new configuration of keybinds !
Also it is time that they think of separating the keybind to leapfrog and melee…
After several tries I went back to my initial keybinds as I couldn’t use cover when I wanted to. Not the patience to relearn the change of keybind only for cover which is fatal.
If it bothers me too much (sticky wall/cover) I would go elsewhere
Not being able to see who is in my squad was a very smart move.
The only way i can tell if any of the players i’ve invited to my game is if the chat icon appears on the main menu. Even then that might be only one player out of three. And then when the game starts if a random who joins through public custom isnt playing as described in the lobby title then i can’t kick them in game so have to return to lobby to give them the boot and start again.
Since the update, this game is a ■■■■■■ up mess.
Makes you wonder whether they actually check anything before they roll it out
I’m gonna say no they don’t.
The Patch Notes were updated:
Updated October 15:
The Uncle Clay card is being used as a major PvE exploit allowing players to become invincible. A fix is coming in Operation 5 but, in the meantime, we are removing the functionality of the card. Players can still earn and/or equip the card but it will not add any benefit.
In Operation 5, our plan was to increase the level cap for PVE Classes from level 18 to level 20. Unfortunately, this feature was enabled in the most recent Title Update and, given there is unreleased content associated with reaching level 20, we are disabling progression past level 18 until Operation 5.
Hooray! This has made my day!
Why not just disable duplicate characters instead of the card that both benefit from?
Toggling off a skill server side is likely a downside(is that how you say it?) easier and faster than an update/patch for a glitch that existed since launch and that would likely delay Op 5, which I doubt anyone here wants.
No fix for escape matches taking extra long?
Boo
PSA Daddy’s Boy probably still works so there’s that. Double JDs and a Clay with Heavy Deflect and Blast Shield should still be enough to chess Hives like the Line or Split.
Is it confirmed that Daddy’s Boy and Grace’s 32% Resistance near Sarah Connor, actually works on everyone?
I’ve tested it with JD a few months ago when we discovered the Clay thing. I don’t touch promo-chars so no clue.
You’re sure this is still a thing?
I’m pretty sure essentially no one used the uncle clay card until this exploit came out. I have no problem with it being disabled. Only ever used it with @RezRoller09 as Lizzy on venom run. It really is a pretty good card even without the bug though. I won’t lie. Lizzy’s rear armor paired with it makes her tough as nails.
I’ve only had it in use if I was Lizzie and a friend played Clayton. There was no other use for it. And… there is other skills that would seem more useful for Clayton.
