Gears 5 quick resume is broken on Series X, not working/black screen and breaks the quick resume feature for other games. understandable but just shows that TC is going to let bugs slip out with this new console so don’t expect a perfect experience out of the gate

At this point, I agree. Then maybe by the original release date, they’ll be working on fixing what Op5 breaks.

Interesting how there is NO MENTION OF ANY GAME/CARD CHANGES, yet Marcus’es rifle feedback has been nuked…
Now, to be honest, they did say that change was coming AS PART OF A LARGER PACKAGE of changes: but guess what? None of those other changes (like engineer perks) are in… Only HIS one change… And done silently without any announcement… And @TC_MichaelAOS acts all surprised when we think silent hidden nerfs are intentional : is THIS another “bug” (like enemies ignoring Clayton when his umtimate is active?) Or was this an intentional, not announced nerf, lol?
I changed it on XBL about 3 months ago but the lag on Gears’ website is even worse than the game. I painted this pic in 98 so it’s not quite as old as Homestar.
No nerf here. In TU10 the text from the patch we had planned previously was accidentally applied to the card. The functionality of the card should be unchanged.
If we decide to make tuning changes to a Skill Card we will always communicate it through a What’s Up post or patch notes.
Btw, you also accidenrly (I assume) reactivated Grace’s nuclear bleed incendiaries…
Can confirm Rifle Feedback’s actual behavior seems unchanged. Otherwise the 9min run on Overload would’ve unlikely been possible.
If that’s the case then i hope TC have the forsight to reset the leaderboards when all the changes come in OP5. Wishful thinking i know

Well, @TC_MichaelAOS could probably clarify if those skills also have such an exploit or not, or people test it and report it to TC. Not gonna do much lamenting about the ifs, when it’s not clear whether they are a thing and/or nobody tries to test the potential exploits.
JD is already confirmed. You don’t get to 100% resistance but pretty close to it. It’s relatively similarily broken.
Figures. I also remember thinking Marcus could actually literally turn invincible in cover with someone else providing the extra missing 10% of resistance, too, while he has Living Legend running. And achieve 90% damage res without it, providing he doesn’t leave cover(assuming Daddy’s Boy would apply to Marcus too).
Grace is outside my bounds of testing because I quite simply don’t own it, never will because I don’t touch the feature characters.
After Op 5, it would no longer be called feature / promo characters. Just simply classes. You’d be missing out.
Well I’m not sure. If they make roles like Emile’s melee class more than totally squishy with only Stim for protection, I could pick that up. But its bleed may be less powerful than Lahni’s venom bleed.
But I see little incentive to try say, the role Grace has because it doesn’t really do anything particularly unique that no one else has. Or even Sarah’s unless they add a way to get grenades without buying them all the time or having to hog ammo boxes, like the Resupply skill of the Soldier in 4. And they fix them disappearing unless you bag n tag a meatshield when you run out of grenades.
Besides, I was on about exploit testing, which is the only time I would remotely consider using them at this point.
