I’ve said before that when I get killed by an enemy and am watching the kill cam, I’m not sitting there thinking, “Oh wow, that’s a badass skin.” I’m actually screaming, “Damn it, how did he get me there, wtf?!”

And you’re right. Some of these weapon skins they are releasing are BEAUTIFUL. Lots of very fine detail to be seen in them… on the weapon select screen, that is. But in game, everything is such a blur, you don’t have time, nor would you, to stand around gawking at everyone’s skins.

This is a frikkin shooting game, not Jancinto’s Top Model.

I looked through skins yesterday. The tribal, island, or whatever skins with the tiki head are a great example of what you just said.

When the gun is 15% of the screen. You can actually see what the eff they put on the gun. In game, its a green gun with a brown spot on it.

Nothing more.

Remember seeing something about the gilded characters being exclusive. Were these phantom skins aswell? What was the grind BTW? I got some of the gilded things. Don’t think I got the phantom ones. Was it versus or something?

I better see everyone using the Black Phantom skins for the remaining portion of this games lifecycle.

Yay, happy for everyone who this will positively effect.

Now… can we all get back to complaining about the real stuff that matters in this game, like

  1. bugs/glitches in general
  2. bad servers disconnecting people from matches, especially Ranked
  3. unnecessarily long grinds without proper rewards
  4. the fact TC can’t seem to get Medal descriptions to match with Medal unlock conditions
  5. TC’s bad math when calculating Skill card effects

Ya’ll remember, “regular” TC bullcrap, right? :grinning:

this shows just how much turnover there has been in the studio over the past year. lots of people who made this game aren’t there anymore and decisions like these can be up for change.

ffs, I wish our TDM complaints worked this fast. I should have known players would be more upset over cosmetics than how the actual game plays…
