This Week in Gears - Jan 12th - 18th

People play for kills and it`s easier to get kills in blitz considering there is always people in close prox to the ring.

You would think so, but I had matches that ended 200 - 0 where everyone else was fighting somewhere on the map but never near the ring. I just sat there waiting for something to happen. And this is an extreme example but to an extent I see the same behavior almost every 3rd or 4th match where people seem to actively avoid the ring.

Someone in chat asked Dana, "Are you gonna talk about the character leaks that were posted or just go on ignoring it. "

He brought it up on his own. He said they’ve been “banned” so I’m putting words for life in his mouth I guess, but could be permanent. As for arcade, I don’t play that. Just Horde and usually KOTH. I’m a paper master, as I’ve been told, but there are a till plenty of games in master where people are breaking forgetting to play the ring lol, but at least there’s stuff going on. Executions alright, but too many breaks I feel like. I’ve had some good games with it

Boost came back up an hour ago so they must have fixed the problems and they did extend the boost from the time it came up to the time it expires. As such, they are fixing the things that were actively glitched.

Is that mean buying Iron through the game is working again, too!?
Because yesterday I could only buy Iron from the Windows Store!

Slip speed boost gone is fine. The roadie run needs to be put back in.

Granted the slip speed made it feel less clunky

Dana is the hype man. He’s gonna spin everything he can as a positive.
Every new operation he is pushing the new map as something amazing. Because thats his job. He did it with pahanu…did it with 4v4…the end result is they actually don’t care about a majority of feedback.

Not everyone needs rewards to have fun. I play games because i enjoy them, not because they give me stuff

Me too… I dont understand this attitude, re givng stuff or the grind: we need to make everything a grind to make people play…

Like Horde cards: the stupid RNG which gives you 8 green cards and 2 blue cards for 2.5h of Master Horde… TC, news flash: that does NOT make go “ohhh, shucks, i guess i need to play lots more Horde then, eh?” It makes me close the game down in disgust…

In gow4 i really enjoyed pvp, and i had almost every black steel character…

In g5 i hate pvp, and i dont have a single chrome steel character…

Hmmm… Is there a corelation there, maybe?

If i dont like the core gameplay, i wont play it, doesnt matter what character or weapon skins you throw at me…

The incentive to play is THE ENJOYMENT OF THE GAME PLAY!

TC, you know, i spent the last 2 nights watching online MIT course lectures, on interesting subjexts, and i had more fun than i would have had playing g5…

I think g5 is a lost cause for me… Going back to my 1 game per week with IRL friends schedule i had before i fell in love with gow4 pvp.

Why people hate public horde - Beginner difficulty
Part I. - 3 Jacks. Any other non Jacks were 0 Re-Up and < 10 levels.

Part II. - Me as Jack. Bye-bye ammo boxes…

Why is Drone Elite’s melee so jazzy?
I managed to get hit nowhere near one and whilst on the next side of a pillar. My ping was also 4 at the time.
I think their strike range might need squeezing in.

Went back to gears 4…its just so much better. Smokes that stun for a sec and blind you. Speed feels right. Guns work well for gears. 5v5 and not this trash 4v4 nonsense.
Is it perfect? No…is it better? Yes

Here’s a secret:

Nobody cares, especially not TC, because its their game.

You cared enough to reply…

how come my post showing this was removed for being off topic? It was literally what was being talked about…
