It almost always was the last enemy we killed on our attempt each wave where it spawned in(almost every single one iirc). I really wouldn’t mind if they made the venom glands harder to destroy instead of like a single Torque Bow immediately taking one off but also made them remove more of its health when destroyed.
It’s hard to say, I mean it doesn’t completely get rid of it. The Wakaatu spawn still messes with the camera shake but that’s just an issue if they’re nearby. Usually I’m staying away from the Demos about 10m and I barely noticed any shaking. At least when being shot at from the smaller enemies, there’s no shaking. Allowing for easy freezing even if you’re being shot at.
True, 5+ bosses on the field certainly doesn’t help with keeping a steady aim, it doesn’t matter if you focus on markza-freeze or longshot, both can help out the team massively when done right. Just doing neither isn’t ideal

I guess also veteran could be pretty great to take out some enemies in the distance and just use your ult to get rid of the smaller enemies while your team has to focus on the bosses
I think Veteran is bad in this mode. Enemies are spread out really far and often covered by bosses. The auto-lock from Veteran can sometimes just decide to lock on bosses. What are you going to do without the Ultimate? Marksman can still fire at long range and in addition to that, freeze most of the bosses. Veteran is just fireing at bullet sponges. Not to mention execution rules.
I know this is a sorta unpopular opinion, but sniping as veteran is really effective until the 2.5x health poison in normal horde kicks in.
with headshot master you can one-shot elite drones until that point and you can stay in cover longer so you don’t risk being downed as easily and further challenging your team. shooting scions in the distance with is also ridiculously effective at recharging your ult.
A really good marksman with high-level icy precision is still better I guess, but maybe having both alongside the Boss killer wouldn’t be so bad I reckon
Marking as Demo really is unnecessarily stressful, but that’s down to marking in general being broken AF, I’ll try to mark a thick-■■■ carrier, but the game is sure I wanted to mark that juvie on the other end of the map I coudn’t even see. but maybe that’s just me
It’s even worse when you have all these walls and buildings blocking your view.

I’m aware of the Longshot. The Longshot however also runs out of ammo quicker.
I just find him a bit unsteady compared to Marksman. And once enough bosses are nearby, even Dug In won’t keep you alive that long.
Ammo really hasn’t been an issue in my few hours with that tactic, I’ll just keep a retro and a longshot and switch between the two depending on distance and overall situation, lvl 3 or something ammo regen and a Box every one or two waves kept me going pretty well so far. As I said earlier though, a good marksman is still superior, they are just really rare

I got them done on beginner too, that was already messy enough (given I used it for some xp for my Promo classes of level 4).
I’m not sure how fun higher would be fun with randoms.
Biggest Problem I see again, as with the Predator hunt too, rewards for higher difficulties are just not worth the effort.

I’m really afraid Gears 6 will go R or even PG, 12 - 16 in germany…

Wish they’d act like it’s an 18 though, like gears 1/2 and somewhat 3

In Australia Gears of War 1,2,3 and J were 15+
Gears of War 4 was 18+
and weirdly enough the rating website has 2 separate listing for 5.
Gears of War 5 is listed as 18+
Gears 5 is listed as 15+, with a mention that an alternative title is “Gears of War 5”.
Have you Australians had the pleasure of playing Gears of War 5? While the rest of the world is stuck playing Gears 5??
