TC just can’t help themselves.
They haven’t reduced the grind and refuse to be overly generous.
I gave up on reups. After 21 it moves so slow it feels like molasses.
Artificial grinds that feel like a punishment for playing a lot don’t extend a games life.
It slowly chokes people’s enjoyment and burns out those that try to complete the leveling.

Well 2xp is the norm, so double xp is 4xp from original release. They did make it sound more confusing than it actually is!

This nonsense again? Krampus is up for 10k coins, same with the moldy Grenadier. And they give you an entire week to earn these 10k if you don’t have them in your wallet.

It was previously a reward. It should have high price if they are going to sell it. Besides, you will be able to get it free with coins.

Oh I’m sure it’s been said but why the heck wouldn’t you just add the lambents as skins instead of new characters? Just to pad out the swarm/red side because it’s low compared to the COG/blue? Or to justify the sale of expensive new characters? And don’t tell me it’s to add new skins to lambent “characters.” They don’t have any other skins as characters. They are skins of characters. lol. Look at Lambent Raam. Isn’t his own character. Skin of RAAM. This doesn’t make sense. So we’re really gonna get very specific like “Lambent UIR Grenadier,” or “Lambent Cyclops Drone?” then. So that opens it up to Lambent versions of every skin? That doesn’t sound right. They’ve never done that in any Gears game.

This was, literally, the only thing I was looking forward to, as I don’t see the point of Father Marcus this late in the holiday season. I’ve been waiting since Halloween to meaningfully work on some lower classes.

Hmm… it seems it’s still the standard 2x XP - and just to be clear I have Boost, so there’s no change for me. I played a quick Escape run on The Surge and had 17,802 CXP, and now have 19552, which is basically the standard amount I normally get. The post-match screen also indicates that I got the standard extra 100% XP, which is normal for Boost users anyway.

Are we really going to be surprised this was either taken back last minute or screwed up (again)? The servers were kicking me out of matches earlier claiming I had “lost connection to the match” while still connected to the internet and having joined a previous lobby with that same host perfectly fine. Always happened after the lobby countdown finished as well so it probably looked like I was some donkey purposedly leaving after they started(when I wasn’t).
For me 2, I always get exactly 1750 cXP on Insane Surge with boost.

Happening to me every lobby I load into…whether it’s the Snowball VS, Frenzy, Jingle Juvies, or the Daily. 30 mins on and I haven’t been able to start any game. Gives me one of three different reasons each time…
