@TC_Sera Keep those winter armors coming!! Love that look (for some reason) and wish you guys would add more variations of it (all young and old cog characters, a winter UIR variant, more winter locust/swarm armor, etc). Good stuff!!

I think that’s a bug. I’ve noticed on bunker you can’t use that stuff (it’s been around twice now) but any other time I could buy from the fabricator.
I’m interested to try Classic Horde, won’t do much more than that if the incentive isn’t there. Like most Horde, new content gets me to try it, incentives keep me returning (Daily challenge is great for this, or events). Outside of new stuff to earn or bonus cards/XP, most of the time I end up choosing the maps and modes best suited to earning cards/XP efficiently.
They didn’t mention perks, but I expect those will be disabled as well.
I suspect ammo will be an issue, it may important to use whatever weapons are dropped by enemies if you want to use bullets over chainsaw and melee.
I’ll try out Classic Horde, work my way up through difficulties to see how it plays. I won’t mind if it’s too difficult. I can just choose to play Gears 5 Horde that I enjoy. Hopefully those that feel Gears 5 Master Horde has been too easy will find the challenge they are seeking in this Classic Horde Event. I would think this may have already been possible if you choose Veteran class, didn’t use ultimate, didn’t equip any cards nor use the fabricator. However, you wouldn’t have been able to turn off the passive ability. It probably would have been tough to find 5 players to all play it that way. The event will facilitate matchmaking players that want to play under those conditions.

It doesn’t appear for me yet (PC) and I just rebooted my game, still nothing.
Usually the games updates around 10 AM - 12PM on Wednesday here in Australia. It’s confusing they only show USA time and not other countries time

The Escape/Horde updates at 00:30am for me Adelaide time,
I think its around 2:30 for the store and playlist updates (but rarely am up at that time to check). Edit: Store has a timer on it and its a while after that.
and then 10:30am for daily objective resets.

Yep I love more grinding whatever it may be for 
The medals tend to be very easy, which is more stars for my Legendary rank, which is more Coins for my card upgrades

Yeh my only gripe, I like the grind hence why the venom skins are pretty cool to own & equip as they do take some effort
