Anyways lets talk bout it. The game encourages you to play so you can earn random things like skins n other stuff just by having it on or playin. So in essence, you know what it does when it gives you a duplicate skin? It gives you scrap.

So one would think that the same would happen when the game gives you duplicate skill cards for horde.

NOPE.

Im sitting there thinking with mounds of scrap cards you i can just scrap them and use on characters being released… except you cant.

Though your cards are maxed, you cannot scrap em. At all.

MAYBE TC forgot bout this, MAYBE its overlooked, MAYBE its not addressed enough. BUT it irks the life out of me seeing as this shouldnt even be a bug. Thats what the whole card system supppsed to do. Put on what you need. Scrap the rest.

How we in operation 3 and STILL have the basics not worked out yet???

Its not a bug, TC wants us to be able to level the cards up when they eventually add a level 6. The problem with this is that we dont know when its gonna happen and now we have way more cards than we’ll need to get them to level 6

Thats an excuse. If youre able to scrap since day 1 in gears 4 you should here, regardless if its a future feature thats NO excuse n the fact that people support is ridiculous to me. I have over 30 cards over on one skill card. I SHOULD be able to scrap.

So many different threads about this lol, I’ll be happy when they eventually do, then I can scrap all my duplicate greens and use the extra scrap to help upgrade my other colors that I will never get dropped cause as a solo player, Beginner is all the challenge I bother with lol

A proposed change in Horde and Escape rewards - Rewind the grind

In Horde and Escape cards are awarded after each 5 waves or checkpoint respectively. Often these rewards are not what people want and include cards that are useless due to current meta, or cards that are almost always useless, like score boost. Low scrap payouts and not being able to scrap cards beyond max also negatively impact the user experience. I have seen likely over one hundred threads on this exact topic.

I wish TC would hurry up and either scrap (pun intended) their idea for level 6 cards and just let us get the scrap, or implement it.

Given how little card changes we got for OP3 and how much we are getting dropped content I don’t see TC being able to effectively make level 6 cards, especially as not all of the levels were even increments and some, like Coles inner fire and less damage on a roadie run would total 100% or more damage reduction if they did.

We don’t need level 6 cards. The game is already plenty easy until they do balancing. We do not need level 6 stuff.

I agree with you there, lvl 6 not needed.
We should be able to scrap what cards we don’t want , so people can build up cards that’s actually useful to them

I thought my opinion would be unpopular, turns out everyone so far agrees scrapping the level 6 upgrade idea and allowing us the scrap would be preferred.

Given the amount of scrap needed to get all the cards to level 5, the amount of characters that will come into the game from now until TC stops supporting this game, and the current slow rate of people getting scrap, I’m not too surprised.

Plus you have to put in an insane amount of time. There are Re-up 26’s I know who haven’t got level 5 cards on all their characters. TC have said they wanted to reduce big portions of the grind in this game. This would be one place to do it.

Only play like 2-3 characters in horde so most of my scrap goes to weapon skins now. Honestly wish I could scrap tons of my cards.

Being polite I also don’t want level 6 cards,due to scrapping banners,weapons,etc etc,I don’t get anything from them, Ive sent a support beginning January 2020 politely they got back at the end of January 2020 asking is it working now.No was my polite answer,but I only get scrap from the daily supplies,5/20/occasionally600 so I’m struggling to get anywhere near to finish a big majority of my 5 cards.
