I would say in most games that ranks aren’t a true representation of skill and is rather a matchmaking tool to attempt fairer matches… but this game was/is apparently trying to do just that. So, there really is no excuse apart from TC getting another headache from an already broken system. 
Also make global chat work!
My theory is that they disabled it so that Ryan wouldn’t get insulted in matches anymore

Good. No one wants Ryan’s stinky cleavage here anyway. Give us a actual community manager that is actively involved so Ryan doesn’t have to be the one communicating with us every 6 months.
I know we have a community manager but honestly they suck and haven’t done really anything. And Ryan was helpful for a bit but eventually it just dissolved into what it always does with him. Someone says something he doesn’t like or they call him out and he cry’s like a baby and leaves. Or attempts to fire back .
The man gets a lot of ■■■■ and if he can’t take it he should stay away.

at the end of the day my friend @TubbieSquirrels it was ryans clevens fault for creating a wanna- be copy of a gears game that resembles so many things and at the end its neither one of them…
I really think tha tthe heat and violence he received from this forum he really deserved that , If I were to create a game as bad as Gears 5 I wouldn’t surprise myself that the playerbase are angry at me…
For example the dev’s and multiplayer directors of DOOM ETERNAL are considered gods and that is because they did a good job creating a product, that in this case Ryan Cleven didn’t deliver not even a near-good image of the product itself.
just a drip - feed game that resembles plants vs zombies casual galore…
