I appreciate it, I’m more on the competitive side of things so I’ve never really been on here since mostly everything in that part of the community is on Twitter but I love gears and I wanna help the community band together because I think we all want the same thing we just don’t realize it

This is why I blew up on kenny bounces post, this “pro” community in gears thinks the rest of us are blithering idiots with no clue who should be disregarded.

Same here we just want Gears to thrive. Alot of us here like the fast movement some think it’s not fast enough. We all know if a revert on movement happens a bunch of other things need to happen in order for the game to fit together and I personally have no Faith in TC. So this band aid effect as the pro’s call it is fine with me. It made the game more playable. I’m good with the band aid. Because I honestly don’t think TC has a post launch Budget big enough to fix this shitz. Make it playable until Gears 6 and hope TC learns a lesson here and don’t ■■■■ that up either.

I think i read somewhere they made it easier to block in street fighter and people were angry?

I used to play tekken and they introduced combos by hitting people in the air and shizzle . And the oldskool player were mad that its now possible to use endless combos instead of slowly outplaying your opponent.
No matter what, the better player will win.
They are complaining because at their level of play these changes have an impact/side effect which they feel makes their game worse.
I can appreciate it. But most people are not at their level and if there is only 1 tuning, it needs to work for the majority of players, not the elite 1%.
I started a thread, I think we need one tuning for all of ranked and one tuning for tournaments (and available in private). So we don’t split the ranked community and we let “pros” decide for themselves the tuning THEY play on.

I saw Icy or whatever his name basically say the game wouldn’t exist without pros.
■■■■ out of here with that nonsense. And I say that as someone who wants the movement to go back to the way it was.
These guys are super entitled and it makes me not want to listen to them or their perspective.
