Way to take things I said to you and repurpose them but regardless, I never said TC was doing a good job with the game. Let’s also not pretend they dont know more than any of us on how this works was the point. Bad judgement calls on TC’s behalf in design, sure you can see me saying that all over the forum.

Also not sure where you saw me say “Pros Ruin the Game” nor have I pushed any narrative at all. I called them whine bags and I still stand by that statement.

My points have all been on the subject matter, I cant speak for everyone else but I can speak for myself and say I disagree with movement being the source of the issues. Also they should stop acting like games are only made because of pros. That is quite comical and has nothing to do with Gears if someone actually believes that is true. That is what this thread was based in and remains as such.

You would be whiny if you did something for your job and it went backwards over a period of 5 years. While the people running your job pretend to listen to your suggested changes and actually do nothing except token pointless changes.

Only one person has said “the game is nothing without pros” so not sure why you’re taking that as something everyone believes.

There’s people at the Coalition that have game knowledge, but the people calling the shots are quite obviously clueless about what the community wants (casual or competitive) . If I give someone a cake recipe and then they screw it up 3 times in a row I’m going to assume they don’t know how to make a cake.

All i know is the game played great last night. I dont think TC should make any major changes. Besides to the horrible matchmaking.

I work in a very large company. We call that Monday. Anyhow, I am not in disagreement with the handling of the game its piss poor and probably could have conveyed that better if you didnt come in here guns a blazing. We can have a civil discussion about it and you will generally see that fans alike want to push this in the right direction and that is the core here regardless of who wants what. I think we can agree the game needs to be in a better position than it currently is period.

I’m not sure how you’ve got to the conclusion people are complaiing because they can’t hit shots. The people complaining are literally the people who won the last event. They also play for most of the money on LAN which means it isn’t about hit reg.

They’re complaining because everyone is forced into playing the same sped playstyle which requires minimal thought process.

In Gears 3 you could be a wallbouncer,strafer, hardaimer, support player, or any combination of those. At any kind of high level in Gears 5 (not just the pro level) you have to be a wallbouncer and an up a’er.

I mean you can read Kenny’s thread to see that a lot of people on this forum aren’t willing to engage in dialogue.
This thread is literally attacking pros and competitive players.

Imagine the reactions if I made a thread saying “Horde players need to stop whining about pay to the microtransactions”. It serves literally no purpose and is designed to rile people up.

Well I cant speak to things that others do and I havent engaged with anyone in the thread whom was doing that as that is not my intent within the thread. Thread was to call out bad behavior not necessarily make a thread to rile up the userbase. Vitriol is in any forum or congregation of the internet. Dosen’t mean we shouldn’t discuss certian items as a result.

Why not? I mean if Nintendo does it with Pokemon and it works, why shouldn’t it work here? The only issue I think this would actually cause is discrepancies the players play different modes. But I mean, that’s more of an issue that would be with weapon tuning, rather than movement speed.

The pros really Really REALLY hate the new speed, which I think it pretty popular with the “average users”… They don’t have a problem with weapons tuning because they have aim assist set to OFF, haha, so they already HAVE a different tuning. If they had to play tournaments with aim assist on like it is in other ranked modes, you’d hear them screaming about that too…

So we DO have different tuning, but they got away with claiming not becasue they just called it “aim assist”, but that is a part of tuning, haha… But they choose to say it’s not, so they can claim we have one tuning… But clearly we don’t.

Stop pretending we have 1 tuning, and just admit and embrace one tuning for all of ranked, and one for tournaments and private scrims for pros…

Maybe you should adapt and not want a gnahser game, as I can play all the other gears and there is no difference. As if the Pros a just a bunch of wine bagsm what you think that makes you as a player?

See the difference in your argument, as stupid as it is because gears has aleays been gnasher centric. Is that I can play just fine if they fix hit detection. The movement makes no difference to me jack it up more I’ll do just fine. Slow it down ill do just fine. However changes are made for the betterment of the game and not based on what I personally want. Thus why they are whine bags. Simple logic here, the game shouldn’t be balanced around what a select few want and if it was different I wouldn’t feel as if TC owed me anything like some of these people.

Thats the point - The reason pro want to slow the movment down is speeding it up adds more issues to the hit detection. yes they are whine bags but so is the gears community on a whole. See the only reason the Gnasher noobs acuatlly get any kills is due to the piss poor ‘hit detection’ or lack of. as if the hit detection was on point do you think half the wall boucning would work? No it wouldnt, players would get killed easly. Also gears only became a gnasher game coz again, gnahser noobs wouldnt adapt to stopping power, retro, sawn off… so going on the that the pros are just wine bags is just as a stupid arguement . when most gears players cry when they claim certian weapons being OP(which they wasnt) coz they couldnt out play certain players using certain weapons., as they just want to run/wall boucne at players with there shottys. Simple logic here, the game shouldn’t be balanced around gamers who are not willing to adapt to new mechancis.

There is a reason gears is an irrelevant franchise as the game play isnt as good as it once was, it hasnt adapted at all. Also with soooo many issues why would any gamer even try to play a half hass broken game made by a half ■■■ dev who cant even make good maps or fix previous issues, while alos adding more on top.

It is a shame gears has gone this way, as TC should of made a good game with less modes and told players this is tgears either adapt or move on.

I’m sorry to disagree but community are not whine bags at all… we are connoisseurs of this great game and we would like it to perform better for us and for the rest of the world, but we aren’t whinning about anything. .we provide technical feedback to help TC fix the game.

they can’t do that man… they wouldn’ have a meal on their plate or a burguer in the mouth if it wasn’t for us , the consumers who give them money so they can amuse us with their game. that won’t ever happen.

this is CONSUMER CIRCUS ALL ALONG. the clowns are TC , and we’re the owners of the Circus. Period.
