The Gnasher now only has room for 6 shells, and will only reload 3 if an active reload is missed.
The Gnasher’s ability in this game has been severely hampered, beyond the damage model. Long term players’ muscle memory needs to adjust to this change in a multiplayer environment where simple mistakes will DBNO you in seconds. This is forgivable on its own, but coupled with the scarcity of shells in the loaded gun, it’s a very unwelcome change. I shouldn’t have to struggle to get a close quarters double kill because of the Gnasher damage and it’s available ammunition… It’s a shotgun.
I’m not sure why I don’t see many posts about this. I understand having a more universal choice of weapons, but what has been done to the Gnasher is a cardinal sin and very un-intuitive to say the least.
