I got 5th place today and I have no idea how that happend. Was’t paying attention to it and even had explosieve headshots on because without it we kept failing.
I probably failed this hive more than two dozen times the last few days because of bad teams. Today was the same…we kept messing up either by bad players or me missing my headshots. But than all of a sudden it clicked and we finished more or less easy. Happy about fifth but no clue how it happened
Surely you mean top 5%?
It may be #5 among friends or people he’s played with. The different pages the stats are listed on can be unclear and inconsistent. I was also confused about this when I was new to Escape.

Haha…yeah I meant top 5%. I’ve never really looked at the scoreboard before because I was just interested in getting a hive done on Master anyway possible. Yesterday I just accidentally clicked on it and saw myself as the fifth person on the list. Was pretty stunned and happy about it but didn’t realise there’s a difference between top 5% and number 5.
Still pretty proud at being in the top 5%. Don’t know how much of an achievement that is but I like it. Might try to improve my time in next few days.

Yea I mean we do it all the time now since we discovered it. But since The Mist is busted anyways it isn’t really necessary to do it there so we just checked what time we could achieve without using it. 
I hope future hives come without a Longshot or simply the meatshield bug will be resolved.

Yeah, this reminds me of GoW4 high score runs where the way to get score was to constantly destroy/rebuild fortifications for energy pickup… Very counter intuitive to the stated point of the game…
Escape should be based on time, with player going down adding few seconds to the time, and some bonus items (cog tags?) reducing the time by few seconds…
This looks like fun, but it is basically mobile horde…
