This is the craziest. By far.
- Deepfake multiplayer mode. (you can’t tell who’s friends or foe ) , if you kill wrong person , you kill your teammate, (execution rule.)
tai with queen myrrah costume , del with skorge face etc… you get the point by looking at these lovely pictures.

if you win 1600 game you will get separate true ending cutscene for campaign which reveal who truly niles samson is.
ofcourse it’s a chaps , he used deep fake for his AI , you all being played by him for 14 years.
No sarcasm from me, here.
This idea feels inevitable, and truly Gears.
Baird needs to invent a Lancer Hammer of Dawn attachment. That, my friends, is your “Freedom Lancer.” Just hose down targets, paint 'em with a laser, and obliterate the Swarm.
It would be more of a power weapon than either the HoD or the Lancer GL before it. And, like the Lancer GL, it would have a higher rate of fire than other rifles (and high damage) with great accuracy. However, instead of “grenade ammo” like the Lancer GL, the Lancer HoD would have a long charge-up time between laser blasts. This would be shown as a horizontal charging bar, a reverse of the Retro Lancer’s bayonet charge bar.
Here’s another idea, and this one’s for the Swarm (or, as I like to call them, Scabs):
Elite versions of the Pouncers, Snatchers, Carriers, and other Lambent v2 monsters. With blackened, hardened shells and slightly larger bodies, these things would be just as tough to kill. But, they also have upgraded attacks. The Elite Pouncer, for instance, wouldn’t just swat shotgun blasts at Gears; they’d also fire one quill after another in rapid succession, like machine guns.
Also: juvenile forms of all of these beasts, which perform different roles.
A Juvenile Carrier has an exposed chest and bloated, glowing backside that it drags around like a Corpser’s belly. It digs new Nests around the perimeter of mature Hives, then empties its cargo of orange goop into the hole, before covering it all with a fibrous, fleshy membrane. Afterwards, the juvenile Carrier’s abdomen shrivels up and the body hardens into its red, “scabby” armor.
Juvenile Snatchers, meanwhile, are shrimpy and almost insect-like. Their tails are still incapable of ranged attacks, but they’re able to squeeze and squelch through openings like an octopus. This makes them ideal scouts to patrol, unseen, around their Hives. Their job is to act as the eyes of Scions, and they make the “door snot” (which they also use to attach weapon caches to ceilings, until such time as a Drone or Scion comes along to collect). There might be a dozen Juvie Snatchers throughout the game, acting as optional “secret” enemies to kill for an Achievement. They flee quickly and can’t be followed, but they’re easy to kill.
Juvenile Pouncers, or “Hoppers,” are used to collect and recycle all the goop from the outer perimeters of Hives. That means they go around scooping up and swallowing what remains from Pods, old Nests, and slain monsters. They travel in packs, but they’ll split up and scatter when fired upon. However, the more goop a “Hopper” collects, the brighter its distended belly glows. Orange-glowing Hoppers cause damage when they explode upon death, but red-glowing Hoppers will explode like grenades. Also, these detonations leave a small, burning AOE field upon death.
Lastly, one more idea because why not:
The Swarmaks are clearly dying out, and relatively few in number. So the Swarm needs to start using bio-engineered warbeasts.
And to armor their warbeasts (as well as themselves) the Swarm could start bio-engineering “armor growths” to affix to their bodies. They should also use their warbeasts to carry equipment, ammo, and additional weaponry. Imagine the prison beasts that walked the ceilings of Gears 2’s massive tunnels, merged with the final boss from Gears 4, but crawling with smaller Swarm enemies.
Add in a few ways for us to kill Pouncers and Snatchers faster, other than torque bow headshots, and we should all be happy.
I have always loved the idea of having special variations of enemies, like the blue (champion) and yellow (rare) enemies in Diablo 3.
Give them more health, accuracy etc. But also give them special abilities from a list,
- Like being able to call in Juvies,
- harden themselves to make themselves take less damage,
- Dodge much more,
- spot the cog/fortifications
- focus swarm fire on one target.
- regenerate health.
- Heal other units
- Inspire other units to swarm/rush
You could give them a certain amount of abilities and increase the number with each difficulty.
Arnold Schwarzenegger playable character. Already got other terminator skins so why not add the real deal. When you die “I’ll be back” or “GET TO THE CHOPPAH” to tell your teammates to get the circle. The possibilities are endless
You gave me the scene of when he smacks the Camel as Conan the barbarian.
While having Sarah Connor is cool and all, I just can’t imagine them not having tried to get Arnold as well. I wonder if he either turned it down or was just too expensive. Or maybe they’re somehow keeping it a surprise.
It’s possible, but since they’re just doing a Gears-ified Skeleton, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just a generic robot voice, or even just the same voice as the DR-1’s.
We’ll have to wait and see.
I’m talking an Arnie skin for COG, unless the Swarm skin would be all destroyed looking with the skeleton poking through. That could work too.
I’d assume it’s the one they showed off, with the skeleton.
The Doomslayer from the new DOOM games as a Multiplayer character. Man, that would be epic.
Not necessarily a crazy idea but turn friendly fire on for multiplayer. This will make it harder for your teammates to just lob a frag or launch a bin shot in the middle of the team to save them all but kill the opposing team.
Teammates won’t care. They’ll kill you and get some kills while they’re at it. And then they’ll kill their teammates for power weapons, and finish off downed teammates for lulz.
I’d frag tag every teammate that follows me to frags on security. Like I can’t pick them up myself…
Ever done the weapon pick-up animation, but somehow the teammate gets the weapon from you a second later? Love lag.
One time in Gears 4 I picked up a power weapon moments before my teammate got there. Then they did the pick-up animation on my Lancer, and suddenly I had their colorful Lancer in my hands, while they got the power weapon. (I think it was Boomshot)
Lots of times I’ll get to frags or another pickup first, press X, and a teammate is right behind me. The animation starts and then it’s like I get froze while the teammate gets the pickup.
Same thing when doing gnasher battles. It feels like I get frozen for a second while the enemy chunks me. Lag compensation in all its glory. If Gears 5 multiplayer is the same, I’ll stick with Horde and Escape.
Yeah, that happens to me in every game. It’s pretty common. Sometimes I’ll even see enemies attack me right as I attack them, but their damage never lands and they die. And once in a while, it’ll happen to me and then happen to that enemy the next time I meet them. Because few internet connections are truly stable (at least in America).
If your teammates kill you is a simple thing if they lose points and a kill off their score. As for picking up the weapon you just picked up, being the game knows it’s a teammate that killed you, you would not drop the weapon you are holding.
So if you’re downed, a teammate could kill you so the enemy couldn’t get your power weapon?
